    Hello Jamie,
The West Highland Way crosses and re-crosses the A 82, the main road from Glasgow, through Fort William to Inverness. When we did the walk, we took our camper, (a LR Defender pick up with an off-set unit) to where we planned to be that evening, parked up and took the local service bus back to where we had been, and began that day's walk, ending up at the camper that evening. The following morning, we repeated the process... We started by driving to a camp site at Inverbeg on the west side of Loch Lomond, parked there then took the bus/buses back to Milngavie. We walked to Drymen, stayed overnight in a guest house, then on to Rowardennan, where we took a very small ferry across the loch to our camp site. The next day we drove to Inverarnan, took the bus back etc. This went well through Tyndrum, Bridge of Orchy and Kingshouse. We had another overnight in a guest house at Kinlochleven - (very welcome after the Devil's staircase!), finishing the last leg to Fort William, past Ben Nevis. We appreciated having the camper waiting at our evening's destination, generally the car park of an hotel or pub. If you are wild camping you are right to drive directly to Fort William - we were 4 rather middle-aged walkers, so enjoyed our comforts! It is a fabulous way to see Scotland from another perspective, you'll enjoy it I'm sure!
