Every single listen through of the album I think that the crescendo at the end of vampire in the corner is my favorite minute of the album… and then the crescendo at the end of watching t.v. hits and I’m like no actually this is the best minute of the album. And then you have love is everywhere and cry for me and the chorus of the ballad of Matt and Mica and by that point I just have to start the album over again so I can once again not be able to decide on a favorite part of the album lol

this album is peak music. their debut mercurial world was already phenomenal but magdalena bay even took it to a different level. this was more experimental compared to their debut, and is leaning more to their roots which is prog music. definitely my album of the year, hands down. made me realize that i truly love music

The moment death and romance came out I knew they had stepped up their game tremendously. After that I was soooo pumped for their new album even more than I already was.
I heard this album after it came out and it become my favourite of the year and originally they were set to perform in my city in a small 200 person venue I missed the tickets and joined the waitlist, come Halloween they announce the venue upgraded to a 2,400 person event and I got myself n my friend tickets she never heard them before and hearing them live is an experience I’ll never forget near the front in a sold out show it was incredible and my friend is now a fan of them cos of it
