Great tutorial! I'm currently using plasticity with Octane however when i have a single object and select specific polygons to add materials to it, octane somehow defaults the material to the entire object, cant seem to get it to work even with using a selection tag. Any help would be appreciated if you know a workaround.

Have you noticed that when exporting, regardless of the settings (even at maximum settings), a mesh that looks perfect still produces artifacts when you need to render it with a glass material (or any other translucent material)? This is especially noticeable on fillets. How do you deal with this? Thank you!
Most of the time I didn't have any problems. If N-gons caused issues than I re-export with triangles. But every 3d software and render engine handles it differently. So there might be problems, or not

Hm unfortunately I am unaware of this problem.
Try to reexport with some different export settings and try again.
Do you use keyshot for rendering too ? It would be great if could make keyshot tutorials as well.
Only using Octane. Principle are the same though between all rendering engines

Зачем тебе Substance для такого базового текстурирования?
Тебе просто нужно его развернуть, если хочешь использовать его в Substance.

У такого пламени на зажигалке должен быть один язычек, а не костер.
