I found a good way to practice and adjust settings from your own home is to watch the snooker and take photo as they strike the white ball...

Can the RM-WR1 Wireless control operate the pro capture feature?

Yes, I have it and it’s working in pro capture. Be sure to use shutter button for prefocus not only the back button. Go to the settings for AF for this alternative.
