The best or the the best, at least with style and the fun to ride in the sand with friend and leave with nice memory of those special day. thanks for your comment.
I was a young kid in 1992, those were great times for the sport and the evolution of the bikes but I must say this footage looks like a modern day novice rider.
Empty, Unridden Glamass !!!! The sand is like Butter ! You can't get that anymore ! Not even using a Paddle in this video...I didn't ride for over 20yrs....Bought a KTM400EXC, rode for 2 weeks and met a friend and some of his Buds out in Glamass. One of them said I would hold them up ! I said "don't worry about me". I rode out about 100yds, turned around and came back to camp. Dropped my tire pressure down a few pounds....and left him in my Rooster Tail the rest of the weekend !!!!!! No paddle, just a good DOT rated Knobby ! He didn't say Shit around the Campfire that night !
JMB, I watched you win in Anaheim and San Diego. You are a great ambassador for France, a great rider and a cool dude. Thanks for coming and teaching the Americans how to be smooth. McGrath learned a lot from you.
I used a Yokahama Super Digger and liked it over a Paddle because you could still slide AND climb everything but I was on an RM-370. JMB is one of my favorites!
One of the smoothest riders ever. I saw JMB beat the whole field who were tripping over themselves with mistake after mistake because they were nervous trying to stay ahead of JMB. He passed them without a care for the win. It was his championship year in American MX.
I always wondered what would've happened in 1993 if you stayed. I dont think McGrath would have won. Only if you still had the passion. How did your road racing career go? Anyway you still have fans today. JMB is the king of USA racing.
You are a talented rider but this is a fine example of taking someone out of their elements for sure. Never seen someone try so hard to make a turn track on every dune
@@corycampbell9811 not always. i explain why i préfère hard pack tire for sand dunes. More fun to ride , more nice for picture because the bike slice on top of the sand with some speed.
@ first time I went there I used a hard pack tire and I had trouble keeping it on top of the sand. I had an easier time with the paddle tire. Thank you for your reply I feel honored. Merry Christmas. 🎄🏁🏆
Then, maybe they were fun to watch because of who they were but today, They would be boring to watch compared to the insane riding today. Never was a fan of this guy nor the smug attitude from some of the French riders that crossed over.
@jeanmichelbayle-jmb111 Don't get me wrong. Got nothing against French people. Just him and David Vuillemin came off kinda smug. They probably were just shy.

what if you time traveled Axell hodges to this day at Glamis lol They would be in shock watching huge sends and landing on wheelie etc etc
a CR500 with a paddle would have been the ticket, cant believe how empty it is
