NB : This video is an hommage to the ghawazi egyptian dancer.
This is not a real ghawazi (ghawazee) dancer, this is not a documentary. This is an artistic fantasy vision about them.
The choreographer Taly Hanafy learn this style with egyptian artist and propose her vision.
If you want to watch and support a real ghawazi dancer, you can go in Egypt and take a private lesson or admire a show of one of the last ghawazee dancer : Khariya Mazin.
The saidi dance is originally a male style, but nowadays most part of the bellydancer practice this style.
