When you asked about which of your videos make me click on them, I think I really like hearing the banter between you and your wife between the history stuff. She adds the flavor to the sauce. 😉 Shout out to her for being naturally entertaining. Also, beautiful creek! Next time I am in Alabama, I need to do more eco tourism.
Thank you Brandon and Miranda, love everything you guys do. From someone who has been shut in since November your vids are a window to a world that I may never be able to get back into. I just appreciate being able to participate any way possible, so thanks again and keep the excellent education for all of your followers coming, and we'll keep soaking it in.
Haha…when she said loser. Great video guys! Also I agree, when you start feeling “ticky,” it’s never fun. Everyone should get to enjoy that at least once in their life.
Thank you for this fun video with the wife ( sorry I forgot her name my memory is like washing sand, it drifts away ] great energetic and lively, this is your best video for a long time. But i love all your vids
I've been diggin' since I could walk & find oldies mixed sparodically with newer bottles 'cos people have a tendency to hang on to old medicines, etc for decades. Keep lookin & havin fun. Thanks for sharing & reminding me of home.
Have to admit that creek sure was pretty. Especially those big white flowers. The only thing I could think of was mountain laurel but I don’t think I’m right. That was so cool you showing how well that acid cleaned up that nasty stuff on it. It’s really a awesome looking bottle. I’d keep it. ♥️♥️😊👍👍🌟
Thank you for showing a cleaning process. I haven't watched another channel that shows this process. I am curious how collectors/hunters get the bottles ready for display or to sell. Again, thank you!!! Love your channel and the interaction with your wife. It's good to see couples share love and enjoyment of time spent together!!! ❤😊
some great finds, especially the modern beers, too bad about the broken bottle tops. the star bottle came out so nice! post acid soak ! take care Aaron and Miranda and be safe!
Once again I thank you for the amount of dedication and content you and Miranda put out for us weekly. I especially enjoy your shorts. Where others take snippets of the original video , you take the time to do a vignette. Thank you my friend…
Relaxing creek walk and again some really nice bottles! Was that muriatic acid at the end? I'm guessing that would be bad to rinse off into my septic tank, probably ok if I had city water but we have well water out in the woods. Thanks for sharing and keep up the great work!
Thanks for the information. I have been searching for bottles for years and just discovered there were videos digging. I have not had a lot of success in finding embossed bottles. Just found my first hutch from Eufaula, Alabama! It is not a coke. In fact, I have never found a straight side coke! Maybe someday, I just have been busy doing nursing. All the bottle education from all of you is much appreciated!
Thankfully, I don't have the cicadas in my area, but I do have a train barrel thru past my house about 15 times a day. I like her waders! Those would be great to fish in.
@@adventurearchaeology The fumes that come off of that are incredibly dangerous. I use muriatic acid to clean agates and it can literally create a cloud of mustard gas. No joke, that stuff can kill you. Please be careful.
Here's an idea for all those beers you find. Have them cut into glasses and have your logo blasted onto them after polishing. I bet they would sell fast.
My hubby is a chemical engineer. He provides biocides to treat water scum buildup. They can be rather stubborn to remove for sure 😊. Looks like you have a great solution.
It must make your hobby 100x more enjoyable that you have a wife that not only supports it but hops right in there with you.
Agreed 🫶
For sure James!
The plant is mountain laurel. It grows from Maine to Florida. We are covered up in it in Georgia.
We are also covered up in Mountain Laurel in Western North Carolina
I thought so! ☝️I agree.I think that's the name to.🙂👍😎
Favorite line of the day " it's a rock you loser" her joy made me laugh
Fun finds!
I love that you take broken bottles and make something from them.....
Don’t tell her that or she will be the new star of the show hahahaha
Yep mountain laurel. Beautiful
First time for me! I live out west, & we don't have them out here. Gorgeous flowers.
Thank you Brandon and Miranda, love everything you guys do. From someone who has been shut in since November your vids are a window to a world that I may never be able to get back into. Glad you can come along with us
Nice time on the creek with your wife! Nice looking bottles ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💜
Always fun in the water!
Awesome video, but i am a few days late to the creek party. 😂😂😂 she was definitely having a great time. Awesome, as always.
I love my earrings that i bought from you guys!!! So beautiful! ❣️❤
So glad you like them!
TRY THE NITRIC ACID BATH
Fun watching you and your wife enjoying nature and history together.
Haha…when she said loser. Great video guys! Also I agree, when you start feeling “ticky,” it’s never fun. Everyone should get to enjoy that at least once in their life.
Fantastic day out. Thanks to both of you for sharing your adventures.
Our pleasure!
The cicadas are loud here in Arkansas too , they haven't been like this since Thomas Jefferson was the prez
Luckily those critters aren't loud here in NE Texas yet.
I just love the water walks and it highlights why - seeing the bottles come out even a little dirty is better than mud!
I tend to agree haha
The white/pink blooms are Mountain Laurels
I need to plant one of those.
Gotta love the love song of the cicadas, lol! Great find withe the star bottle!
They are everywhere hahaha
Thank you for this fun video with the wife ( sorry I forgot her name my memory is like washing sand, it drifts away ] great energetic and lively, this is your best video for a long time. But i love all your vids
Great video you two! Really like that start bottle. What kind of acid are you using to get the grime off?
Muriatic is the way to go’
Awesome saves, y'all !!! Too bad on the broken ones, but the whiskey glasses are very cool 😎✌🍀
Don't worry Brandon, we've all been fooled by a rock before LOL. Glad you guys got giggles from it though. Great video!
I like watching your videos
Even though you make me jealous on all your finds 😊
Beautiful area to look for bottles, I have never seen a soda water. That old Coke should make a great shot glass. Enjoy the bottle show yall
😂🤭☝️"It's a rock.you goober!"lol 🤪☺️💖so funny!👍😎
More nice finds!
One of favorite videos! Your bride made me smile/laugh more than once....just seeing her slide down the bank at first part.....you are a lucky man.
I've been diggin' since I could walk & find oldies mixed sparodically with newer bottles 'cos people have a tendency to hang on to old medicines, etc for decades. Keep lookin & havin fun. Thanks for sharing & reminding me of home.
It's been too long and this got me itching to hunt again. As soon as these flood waters recede I'm getting in the moisture.
What can I say, I love the river video's the most!!!
I like the drop down windows with supplemental information.---And that star bottle sure was a beautie!
♥️♥️😊👍👍🌟
Thanks Shelly!
What kind of acid bath do you use? Do tell!
some great finds, especially the modern beers, too bad about the broken bottle tops.
the star bottle came out so nice! post acid soak ! take care Aaron and Miranda and be safe!
Star bottle cleaned up nice. fun day in the creek!
Thanks for the creek walk!
Our pleasure!
Beautiful mountain laurel trees, the blooms are gorgeous. Nice finds and awesome wildlife today!❤
The mountain laurel is very poisonous. Read about toxicity. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kalmia_latifolia
So enjoyed walking with you guys...🥰🥰
Thanks for coming
I just love the creek hunts
What great finds congratulations 🎉😊
Once again I thank you for the amount of dedication and content you and Miranda put out for us weekly.

Awesome finds keep them coming
Awww that walk in the sun....seeing nature & discovering those bottles makes for good video ❤❤❤❤❤❤

Super Cool Adventure
Nice hunt, Brandon and The Boss! Great finds! Those star bottles are some of the first i ever found. Take care, be safe and God bless!
Lovin' them crick walks !
Great video! Would love to see more at that spot,Thanks
THANK YOU LOVE YOUR VIDEOS........ 👍🙏>>>💚
Thank you for another great video!

Always nice to find something new and different, thanks for another great video
Thankfully, I don't have the cicadas in my area, but I do have a train barrel thru past my house about 15 times a day. I like her waders! Those would be great to fish in.
Mountain Laurel! We have them all along our creek banks in NE AL also.
Great video! I would love to catch one of those Gar's... We don't have them I'm western NC.
Great video!
The cicadas haven't come up out of the ground yet here in Pennsylvania. I've always liked the sound of cicadas on summer night's.
So... I've watched several dozen of your videos (absolutely enjoyed every one)... Question... Have you ever found a pink coke bottle whole?
Pink?
@adventurearchaeology Yes. We've found pieces, but never a whole one.
Great video’s
What kind of acid was that? Great video! I love it when a person's significant other can join in...❤
Muriatic!
@@adventurearchaeology that's cool to know. I've always wondered how you would clean these cause washing it in dawn just wont do it. Love the videos.
@@adventurearchaeology The fumes that come off of that are incredibly dangerous. I use muriatic acid to clean agates and it can literally create a cloud of mustard gas. No joke, that stuff can kill you. Please be careful.
Pretty cool video!
Thanks!
Ticks and spiders and snakes and gar... you all are brave to get out there. :-)
Here's an idea for all those beers you find. Have them cut into glasses and have your logo blasted onto them after polishing. I bet they would sell fast.
Wow, thanks!
I love that ya'll are a team now ❤
Which acid do I need to buy? I've got several creek finds that need cleaning before I can make my videos.
Muriatic is the way to go!
@@adventurearchaeology I've got some of that already. This week may be the week I finally giterdun 😂
Happy to see you're wife appears well recovered from that nasty injury. There are plant ID apps.
Dumb question, what's a Gris Mill? Love your videos!
Happy Mothers Day!# "honor thy mother💪💖.-Jesus💖"☝️💪🙏💖!🙂☕
Always learning something on your channel....leeches have families, too! hahahahahaha
Bahaha
First saw the Budweiser cans 54 years ago, first ones had a pull tab that you threw away but fish were swallowing them when tossed them overboard
I could see using those pull tabs for shiny lures…… maybe that’s a new use haha
DOUBLE BROOD OF CICADAS THIS YEAR.....JUST GETTING STARTED...YOU WONT SLEEP LOL
Yah they’ve been crazy!
We are getting a double whammy here in Illinois with the cicadas.
U.S. too!
Looks like Mountain Laurel. The flowering tree/bushes
My hubby is a chemical engineer. He provides biocides to treat water scum buildup. They can be rather stubborn to remove for sure 😊. Looks like you have a great solution.
🤔☝️not sure.however!I believe that's mountain laurel.my mom💖knew every tree,plant,& flower. 😊💖👍😎🙂☕
native rhododendrons and mountain laurel flowers.
Your leech on the bottle is a water penny. Not the actual name I believe but we call them water pennies here in western PA
Great video !What acid are you using, and will it take the white sickness off ?
Cheapest muriatic acid I can find!
@@adventurearchaeology thanks !
what are the ingredients of your acid bath? that was an amazing transformation...
Straight muriatic acid
The bottle Miranda found appears to be what's called a three-part mold (3PM) bottle. If that's the case then it dates from 1840-1870.
I figured it was in that bracket!
That is a Rhododendron. Very pretty bushes. Insanely obscure fact, the honey from these plnts is hallucinogenic.
I believe the blooms are from a Mountian Laurel or Rhodendron
How do you make them into whiskey glasses? And what acid do you use?
Muriatic acid and I keep my whiskey glass method to myself to keep the competition down 😎
What is a gar? Do they bite? It was big!
Acid? What kind and where do ya get it?
Have y’all ever tried floating a clear plastic drawer on the water in order to see the bottom really clearly??
That’s blooming mountain laurel!
Sure was pretty!
Yikes! How long do those cicadas stay around?
They die pretty quickly but it seems they are coming out of the ground as fast as they die haha
What's the acid that you put your grimey bottles in?
Thanks
Muriatic!
@adventurearchaeology Thanks Brandon. Love the channel mate 👍🏻
Those are rhododendrons they're mixed up with mountain laurels
I grew up in the town where the Coca-Cola bottle was invented. Terre Haute Indiana, I now live just across the state line in Illinois.
The tree with flowers is a Rhodedidern .
Can you show us how you cut your bottles in a show? Just a thought!
Can’t create competition for myself haha Some things I have to leave a mystery
@@adventurearchaeology I get it. Thanks for getting back to me. Enjoy your channel!
I hope your water is free. Never leave your water running.
No shortage of water here.
Do they make clear polarized glasses?
I know they make Amber ones
I find Amber lenses are better in low liight
No clear that I’m aware of!
I honestly thought that soda water bottle was a sprite bottle since they did have stars on their bottles too.
Long before sprite haha
That old bottle neck looked like black glass from the 1850s
Very possible!
