i don't know exacly how but I feel like Google Maps quality also deteriorated in EU, searching places near me lead to a similliar named place 400km away, directions that lead all around the city just because road nearby is under construction. but it's still a bit better than apple maps in my area
Well, in this moment I can tell you that when I zoom into Gibraltar, it says "Gibraltars geografi" ('Geography of Gibraltar'; my phone is in Norwegian). This must be taken from Wikipedia, right? It's the only explanation I have for it.
They renamed Huntsville “City of Huntsville, Madison county-City of Huntsville, Limestone County” for some strange reason and left out the small bit of the city in Morgan county
