as a killer main, survivors will do anything and everything to waste your time, especially by sitting at the exit gate just to rub it in your face as they leave. i just usually try to push survivors out as soon as possible just to save myself time, but sometimes if im feeling petty i just won't go to the gate and see how close they'll gamble with the endgame collapse
its a problem on both sides as well. killers who do nothing but slug are so annoying and a huge problem. i hope they add basekit unbreakable to avoid slugging
@@apenguin9629 Definetly also something that is a problem as well when I play killer. I hate the fact that they absolutely have to rub it in your face that they get a 4-escape
@apenguin9629 a better solution is giving players an option to give up if they're the last one left and have been slugged for 30 seconds or so, but it counts as a "kill a survivor by your own hands" for the killer
@LucidLiuxx a lot of games that have a "downed" state give you the option to just bleed out and die to get it over with or respawn. i agree dbd should have that too
Yeah As a solo survivor I often find it weird when people wait instead of just escaping from the gate when nobody need to be saved. I feel like do you really have nothing more to do😢
Base kit unbreakable would prevent slugging from even being an option. They could even add negatives to picking yourself back up, like mangeled, hindered, exhausted, etc. I see no reason why slugging should be an option (if survivors are hovering and you can't take care of it in the 30 seconds it takes to self pick up then it might just be a skill issue). Also if there's only one survivor and they're left on the ground, highlight the hatch, 2x their crawl speed and x5 the bleed out timer. Before people say it's a skill issue to die to slugging, think about solo queue, there pretty much no way to reasonably combat knockout slugging in a game with no coms.
Unbreakable can be countered by camping the area if survivors went down near each other. Slugging is not a skill issue but rather players using game mechanics to their advantage but it comes with the cost of survivors being given the short end of the stick. I like your idea with faster bleedout and crawl speed. Thank you for your comment! 😄
How is it a skill issue to not pick upa survivor when you see another with a flashlight nearby? Picking up in that situation is genuinely a skill issue
@@stonalisa3729 it can depend on the situation, like if there’s a wall right next to them then I agree, but it it’s in the middle of nowhere and there’s a SWF of flashlight/flashbang survivors hiding everywhere then there’s kinda nothing the killer can do but slug or run light born (but even picking up risks DS), I get that the game can be frustrating from both point of views but it really depends on the context and is not always a skill issue on either part.
@Insantgd or how about you just grow a pair and tank the flashlight save, the game is so killer sided, unless youre horrible at it re downing them should be no problem getting 3-4ks consistently couldnt be any easier in current day dbd, killers have grown so paranoid and so soft that youre scared to take risks "oh no what if i get stunned by a pallet or if they flashlight save" sometimes youll lose a match other times youll win just have some guts take risks and stop stressing over every little thing, your job is to down and kill survivors you have so many perk and add on options that assist you for everything but so many of you lack the mindset to actually get good

making adrenaline not pop off hook, which swfs just 99 the gen and get value anyway while not fixing the problem and making it unsuable in soloq, then adding basekit mori which every killer will notoriously waste minutes of your time waiting for your other teammates on hook to die to mori, or have the 3rd last survivor be slugged just to find his 4th victim to mori this already was a problem due to killers not wanting hatch to spawn but now given a incentive to slug when the survivor essentially cant win anymore and waste minutes of your time without the killers being able to do anything, the killers atleast have a way to combat survivors t-bagging at the exit gate, survivors cant just stop killers from slugging unless they bring perks against it, which is either uneffective or not needed or boring even if it works because you will just get slugged on the ground again (unless you use soul-guard for whatever reason)
I think a lot of problems could be fixed in the game if they added some type of voice chat for the survivors. The solo queue problem would improve significantly, and of course there are language barriers but any communication mid game with survivors would be better than pointing. There’d have to be an option to join or not just in case people don’t want to or are streamers or something and a ban from vc system but anything would be better than the current communication. Also as for the wasting time issue, I think it’s a combination of bad game design, and toxicity between players. I’m a killer main, and I get pretty annoyed when survivors t bag constantly, but at this point I just accept that it’s part of the game (and that the survivor who t bagged isn’t getting any mercy or hatch). Honestly though I feel like dbd isn’t the same without some rage at some parts, it’s kinda part of its identity. If people hop on dbd to “decompress” then they aren’t playing the same game.
Killer T-bag or wasting time is NOTHING compared to 4 survivors spamming fast vaults (RIP headphone users), T-bagging, not leaving the Exit Gate, being Bully Squads, etc. Let us killer mains have what little we can get.
I think its stupid that as killer you can't just give up on hook and you have to play out a losing match just to get tbagged at the gates, all that time finding, loading, and starting just to have the survivors waste your time to have u watch them leave. Thats why i slug at least
@@AverageGamerNub-qf6sp I completely agree your point and in my opinion that is not on the killer that is on BHVR and the programming not something the killer should be ashamed of. Thank you for your perspective! 😄

I used to play WWII air combat sims... not P2War Thunder. It took 10 to 15 minutes to climb to altitude to have a "fair-ish" fight. So 5 minutes on the ground in DBD isn't a problem.
