don't forum channels have some sort of limitation to how many messages can be posted into the thread? It used to, I think, at least, have a limit of like 1k posts in a thread but that may have been during the beta?

I think that was only when it was in beta. I gave a few that are I really 1k
I haven't found a limitation but if I do, I'll update everyone on it.
So you've seen some go above 1000?
i tryed going into overview and permissions and there is no list or gallery view, or sort order?
Did you set up the channel as a forum channel?
