Earlier this year, Above & Beyond performed some of their best-loved songs acoustically as part of a 15-piece band, across four sold out shows at London's famous Porchester Hall. The response from fans was overwhelming and led to two sold-out nights at The Greek Theater in Los Angeles in October, described by Billboard Magazine as "one of the finest and more memorable shows in EDM history."
Above & Beyond partnered with THUMP on the production and filming of the London shows to create a concert film that captures the Porchester Hall performances and the story behind the acoustic project. The songs performed at Porchester Hall also form the basis of the "Above & Beyond Acoustic" studio album, which was recorded in the spring and summer of 2013 and features a 24-piece orchestra.

I swear, Alex Vargas on this song and "Sun and Moon" and Ashley Tomberlin on "Can't Sleep" off Tri-State can seriously make me curl up and cry like a child. This just broke me down and built me right back up. Never heard A&B acoustic before but my god.....

The acoustic version is simply the best. This song means a lot to me. It was this song that gave me the strength and courage to ask this girl out and tell her about my feelings for her. Unfortunately she changed her mind and now she ignores me. However I still believe that she will change her mind again - this time for the good of both of us. I would just like to say one big "thank you" to Above & Beyond for making such good and positive music. It sure helps me get through some dark days in my life. But love will be back, someday, anyday, maybe even today :)

Listen I am from Hackney and was bought up to a wide range of music when the first pioneer private rave stations started in the 80's as a kid like sunrise and kiss fm.... and listening to reggae, etc... These guys are unbelievable and proper artist who know their stuff. All those stupid people who put their thumbs down are all crazy and have no clue in music and the rave music scene.... They are proper musicians and one of best DJ's around the world catering people from all ages, from all walks of life around the world and having sell out gigs.. Truly Masters of their craft! First time I have ever heard this song is this acoustic version. Maybe if I had heard any of original ones before I would feel differently. But starting with such high standard, I think that any other version is just not good enough ;)
