I'm DEFINITELY thinking about sticking with more foam board than wood. Those little pins would NOT be possible with wood.
My daughter is about 7, but.... She's a very different child. I'm a single mother and she's very mature and responsible and I really think she'll take care of it (that was my biggest reasoning for wanting to switch to more solid wood), ESPECIALLY knowing that Mommy made it for her. I made her a two story play house a few years ago out of pallets (and other wood or course, so it was sturdy), and she's taken great care of it.
I can't wait to get started on this.

My daughter in the other hand is acting very destructive lately (shes 4) I think wood is a lot more sturdy. But yes the pins was a great idea tho love it!!!

Thanks for putting the measurements on, I make them for my other half and some of the stuff she sends miss various steps out and have no measurements so this makes it much easier 👍

Where do u get ur boxes and foam board?
The box is recycled...it’s a big cardboard box that a dishwasher was delivered in. And the foam board is from a art supply store called ‘gerstaecker’.
Lol, I have a empty freezer box still in my kitchen waiting for a project 🤣🤣
My aunt was always asking is to save all kinds of stuff for her to do arts and crafts with since there was no craft store and no internet.

I liked really liked the kitchen but it just looked a little bit empty...
It’s two, forty-seven am and I’m so, tired, I’m hallucinating. When you were gluing something with your hot glue gun, my exhausted mind thought that the glue gun was speaking to the wall which you were gluing.
