I put 45k into an IRA account. It’s 36k today. I bought a home for 165 and put 15k down it’s now worth 345k and I live it it. I wish I had used the money for real estate investment.
Is there something specific that I need to say to my brokerage to pull funds from my IRA? It sounds weird that I’m having to “ask” for “my money” back...Also, I’m only 37 y/o.
Well. I'm not an investment advisor anymore so I can't say yes or no. Are you good at real estate? How is your 401k? Are you getting the cash flow you want from your 401k?
@@GarrettGundersonTV Well we have 3 residential properties that we've successfully rented for the past ten yrs or so. I recently quit my job so need to do something with 401k (132k). Was thinking either Roth or another rental. I dont know/understand about "cash flow " question. I am trying to learn more but need it explained on a 5th grade level 😊
My friends makes 500k and never eats out, nor buys coffee. He hates Starbucks lmaooo which is understandable, but still he can't spend $5 on coffee ever.
I am an amateur barista. I love intelligentsia coffee/espresso. Worth the price for me, enhances quality of life and great for when I am writing- preferences.

What if the homes value drops to 135k? Are you confident it will bounce back ? Doesn't the same apply to 401k and stock market with the ups and downs?
You invested in wrong stocks.
I love people with solutions

Thanks for the marriage and family counseling session! The money tips were good too.😊
2mins in and saw this 😂
Great discussion, a 401K may seem like a better investment, but a real estate purchase can assist in your long term investment portfolio as well
Real estate you can use personally. It’s not just a number on a screen. So you can actually live in a. Beautiful estate versus $1m in the bank. Use it
Very timely discussion. Thank you!
Thanks.
I really wanted to know about this topic so thanks
