THANK YOU!!!! I have been sitting here with this syringe in my hands for 20 minutes scared as sh*t to stick myself. I watched this video with you and it helped me get through my first injection! I did my thigh also and it really didn't hurt! I didn't think I was ever gonna get it done! Thanks again❤
This made me laugh!! Hahaha so glad I could help!!
I’m starting soon and very nervous. How has your first week been
How was your first week?
how are you going coco? All the best!
This is me too😱
I lost 24 lbs first month on Semaglutide!!!!
What dose?
My dose changed while I was on the medication. But I am currently on a low dose once a month!
@@KarliSine did you start on 0.25?
What’s your bmi now ? I can get maintenance. My bmi is 23
Hi, my daughter is starting with the lower dose .25mg, I'm confuse about on what number of the syringe 💉 of 1 unit needs to be.
Thank you so much for this video. I am NOT good with needles and have been stressed all day about my first shot. I finally did it after watching your video and the thigh/slow advice makes me feel better mentally (even though I’m totally shaking and almost in tears now that it’s done lol). Thank you!!!!
I use an ice cube to numb the area first, can’t feel anything.
I was struggling so much to give myself my first shot. Thank you for doing it with me!
I took my first shot yesterday and found it extremely hard to do. I could not bring myself to inject myself in the belly so I went for the thigh, which was much easier, psychologically (not sure why). A friend suggested the thigh as well to reduce nausea. I'll be sure to pinch hard next time. Thanks for sharing your experience!
It's all in the pinch!
Same, did first shot last Thursday in the drs office and could not do my stomach lol Doing second shot today in my thigh.
A slight pinch up is all you need. I wouldn’t pinch hard.
I just did the thigh too just couldn’t stomach the belly area
I watch this every week when I do my shot. I started out making sure I was doing it right but now it’s a ritual. Thank you for posting this💗
Just did my first GLP-1 injection with you! I was avoiding it for hours, but your walk through helped so much! Thank you 🙏 ❤
This was THE most helpful injection video I have found. Just gave myself the first injection following your instructions and it was PERFECT guidance. Injecting slowly is a great idea. Thank you!
Girl, I just got my prescription in the mail today and I am super happy and beyond ready. By the way, you look SOOO gorgeous.
Thank you so so much for posting this, I was so scared to give myself the shot and pulled up your video so I could do it with you ❤
Thanks! I just received my first shipment from HenryMed and I'm so excited to start on Thursday!

@@bonnieamirault3782They have pills now, yes? 😮🎉
Thanks for the great advise. I was finally able to give myself the first shot!
YAY! congrats!!! Such an exciting journey. I would do it all over again!
Did you swab the top of the bottle and your injection site with a sterile pad first? May want to include that for the noobies that don't know any better. High chance of introducing bacteria if that's not done... Otherwise good video! I didn't know about the spot making a difference on the side effects! I do it in my stomach and feel nauseous for a few hours.
I should have mentioned this! I did a swab at my fridge before I went to film! but thank you for commenting!
you are AMAZING and so relatable … I’m a mom and decided to do this for me and I start next week on Tirzepatide. thank you for showing how to do the injection - this makes me feel way less afraid. your progress is so inspiring! thanks for sharing.
Oh yay! I’m glad you found me!!! You’ll have to come back and tell me more about your experience when you start!
I want to go on a GLP-1/semiglutide shot for my B.E.D. But bc it’s so expensive and I’m terrified to ask my doctor about it (I’ve experienced previous medical gaslighting) I’ve never gotten my hands on it 😢
Damn, you look fantastic, you just need maintenance now, you should maintain current weight, looks like you've hit your goal weight. They started me off with drawing to 10 on the tube or 0.01mL?, for my first dose, the first 10 mark on the tube, it goes to 100, seems low to me but gotta start off easy I guess. Did 1st shot yesterday in stomach, so I may change to another area if I get to feeling strange or sick. Nice tutorial, nobody else mentions to draw the plunger back to where you will draw the liquid and then push it into the bottle to put air back in the bottle. One TIP: when you are injecting the liquid in the fat when you have it pinched up, let go and then push it in, squeezing to hard while injecting could, I say "could" cause the liquid to try to come out, so supposed to grab some fat, put in the needle and let go of the fat and then inject it in,,,,,just my .02
Great video! Exactly what I was looking for. I’d only suggest to not keep the needle exposed for so long before injecting yourself and using an alcohol wipe on the injection site. Thanks again!
Thank you! I needed to see this and know what you just said as I just started my journey.
If you're having unbearable symptoms, your dose is too high. It's not necessary to go up to the max dose. Watch the dr.tyna podcast, ozempic done right, 4 parts. She talks about microdosing
I just took it with you. I'm so grateful for this video❤
Is this compounded semaglutide? I get mine in the mail tomorrow and am scared because it’s compounded but excited to try. 😅
I Really appreciate you sharing… you haven’t posted a lot and you have done amazing on this journey! Please continue to share 😊🌸
Lmao the new South Park episode was based on you.
I haven't started yet. Your video is so helpful I'm going to start today.
First time I was anxious and literally did it with you in the video at the same time, I think I squeezed so hard when I slammed the needle in and pushed it I didn’t feel anything at all to the point I thought it didn’t go in but it was painless thank you so much
Oh I’m so glad I gave you courage!!! I bet you did great! 😊 excited for yoy!
I started Semaglutide 2 weeks ago. I haven’t lost anything yet but I can tell my appetite has reduced. I got mine from Henry Meds as my insurance denied Wegovy. I have a lot of health anxiety so I’ve been worried that it’s all a scam and im injecting chemicals into myself but videos like this are really helpful.
Oh no I’m so sorry! 2 weeks is a very short time. You have to let it build in your system to feel the affects! Be patient, it won’t be super fast for everyone! :) you got this!!
Same 🥹
I'm on my 2nd month, 2nd week. I haven't lost anything. But keeping hopeful. I know my pcos is on panic mode so it may take longer for me.
i was looking at Henry meds and was worried it would be a scam, have you had a good experience so far? and the monthly price, how much does it cover? i mean how many vials and what is the dosages per week? thanks
@@gabypleasant I've been on Henry meds since Feb 2024, first the pills/tablets under the tongue. now I'm on the liquid under the tongue. Almost 4 months, and I haven't lost one pound. I'm trying the needle as a last resort. Then I'm changing to another company whose injections are working on the people. 65 lbs in 3 months and another lady lost 85 lbs. in 7 months. The nurse at the other company/locally, told me the reason the liquid and pills weren't working, was because this is supposed to be injected to work. Wish I had known this about $1,400 ago. if the needle doesn't work on Henry meds, I'm going online and telling the world, I don't like being scammed out of all that money.
How come you can get the shot? I was rejected as I have a 25 bmi, you are definitely slimmer than me so it makes no sense!
Your doctor has to prescribe it.
Was scared shitless and your explanation was perfect. Still, I almost passed out. lol, but you made this work! Thank you so much.
Thank you so much for sharing this video! I JUST started taking tirzepatide today, and literally, watched your video while I was giving myself the injection! You made it so easy and took whatever fear I had about the needle away with your calm and assured approach. Thank you!
The release pens take like 10 seconds so something to the slow inject for sure
I start next week I heard it’s only 1 cc is this true?? I asked them what brand and they said it’s Semaglutide. I got it where I get my Botox. They call it the med spa, it’s the same facility where I got my boobs done and my rhinoplasty. It cost 499 for six weeks. I’m 160 pounds and my goal weight is 130. It’s actually 125 if I’m lucky! They said they’re going to start me off on a low-dose because the nausea I guess? So when I heard it was only one CC and then I looked at your video and it looked like at least 4 cc. I’m a little bit concerned. As soon as I get my first shot, I’m gonna cut out all carbs and all sugar to help speed up the process.I just wanted to know a little bit about you, as soon as you started to get the shots did you change your diet completely or did it just not make you as hungry as he used to be and you stopped eating as much?
Thank you for sharing this. I start mine this week, getting the box today. And I’m a lil nervous but seeing your prep videos and also know you are the same weight and goals as I am makes me more confident in the start. I’m about 180 lbs and want to get to my 130s again. I’ve been yoyo weight from 170-190 for the last 3 years and I need this motivation.
Thank you. I want to switch from my stomach to my thigh but I'm scared of veins and muscles. Tips on that? Doing my shot tomorrow.
I am getting mines next week I am excited and scared but seeing your video make me not do worried but semaglutide compound that's what I am starting with
I’m starting this Saturday with the compound semaglutide from local pharmacy - I sure hope it helps me lose- I’m 260#.
Thanks for this video! I have always done mine in my stomach but am looking to change to my thigh,51 lbs down in 11 months. In a serious stall🤷♀️for months
are u on the "compound" semguletide, or the stronger type, that Oprah took?
Thank you for this video!! It really has calmed my nerves about injecting myself. I absolutely love the helpful tips too! Definitely will go slow and start on thigh.
Love how so many women who barely need to lose any weight are using this medication at such high doses. I was 405 pounds when I started. I actually needed it. I got down 135 pounds without even going up to the 1.7 mg shot. I don’t understand why women who are 15 pounds over weight are taking this medication meant for people with food eating disabilities.
1 shot in and I'm totally sick...stomach injection. I'll do my thigh on sunday
Straight and to the point. Thanks
You are the only one I've seen that does it the way my pharmacist told me to do it. Pulling in air first, then drawing it into the syringe! He said that otherwise it will create a vacuum in the bottle.
Thank you! This video helped so much! Doing my first shot today.
Thank you for this! I was struggling with where exactly in my thigh to give the shot. This helps!❤
I rarely comment on a youtube video, but wanted to say thank you making this video! I just gave myself my first shot and I can't believe I didn't feel anything! It's my 2nd shot, the first was given to me in the stomach in office and was pretty nauseas I am hopeful i will not feel sick this time!
YAY!!!! Thanks for commenting! Sooo happy it went well. How did it go since it’s been 2 weeks since that comment? Did it help?
@@KarliSinewhat about air bubbles in it? Love your video as well but worried about air bubbles
I started two week ago and the nauseas and discomfort is so bad. I put it on my thighs. So I wonder if I can low the dosis to .15 better than .25 because I want to give up. I just need mi lose 20 pounds and already lose 5 pounds 😢 and I don’t want to quit. Just need to control my appetite 😅
@KarliSine Why Is it Red? Im currently on semaglutide but mine is clear.. and I have only seen clear semaglutide until today..?
Mine is compounded with B12 and the B12 is what makes it red!
Hi Karli I really could use your help and assistance please. 🙏 I am a new user to semaglutide and I’ve got questions for you please.
Thank you for explaining the air in the syringe first! The video I got from my doctor was not very clear about that, and was shot too far away to see what the lady was doing. I've been doing it incorrectly!
I went back and forth stomach/leg Every time I was sick in the leg! So give it a spin what works ❤❤
This is so terrible. You are not taking the proper sanitary precautions. You need to wipe the top of the vile with alcohol swab before inserting the needle in the vile, also be sure to tap syringeto ensure no air bubbles as you do not want injectair bubbles in your body., Swab the skin with an alcohol swab prior to injection with instead of smudging the skin after injecting the medicine with your very posible dirty fingers you are supposed to cover with a brand sanitary bandaid or use a ckean tissue snd you do NOT want to pinch the area really hard because it can cause problems with the injection. I said "your possible dirty finger" because you failed to mention about washing your hands prior to yiur injection and yet this is your "how-to" demonstration for others to learn from you??!!! Clearly this medicine is not used to for sustaining your health but more likely for vanity reasons which perfectly fine, no shane in your game but I definitely notice the difference in your care and proper sanitary precautions compared to when I inject my chemo medication in stomach weekly for my lupus as well as other other patients who need to do injections for survival. smh
Thank you! I’ve been struggling with nausea injecting in the stomach so gunna try this today.
You look good shape, but your Dr prescribed it if BMI is less than 25?
thank you for this video. Could you please tell us what gauge and mm the insulin needle is that you're using?
Where do you purchase or receive your semeglutide from, if you don't mind me asking. I am looking for a safe place to purchase. Thank you!
I'm going to do my very first shot today! Thanks for the great tips!
If they stop eating you do realize there's going to have to be pigs 🐖 to eat the food they don't eat . They're going to see enemies in people over weight differences. You're not teaching them how to eat. They're starving themselves . I'd ban this . This is irresponsible.
Someone has an explanation why she is even using that?
Its a weight loss medication! I lost 55 pounds while on it and I now am at my goal weight and just take a small dose once a month :)
@@KarliSine yeah I know, but why I asked was that u are already skinny😁 but I got it, u became like that with this medication, makes sense.
This video helped me so much. Today was my first time doing it and I was so nervous and then when I came across your video, I also thought the thigh would be less daunting so I did it there and watched your video while I did it🩷
Yay!!! So happy and excited for you!
Hi, newbie here as well. I started my first injection yesterday. Are sulphur burps just one of the horrible side effects?
When do you stop taking it ? So you don’t get too skinny
Slower injections probably are the reason you are getting less nausea. Injecting in stomach doesn't have anything to do eith nausea.
I did it more towards the inner thigh, the looser chubby part. Is that okay
What about air bubbles they are still in them? Your video are amazing. Did my first shot
So did the nausea and the sluggish filling ease up after sometime I’ve been taking mine 4 weeks now
Hi which is better zepbound (monjuaro) or Semiglutide for weight loss and less side effects? What was your beginning dose? Ive heard some do. 10 to start and some do. 25. How does ot feel to know you need more or more often? You are looking great! Im tired of trying things like Qsymia and phentermine that act on my brain. Thank you!
Why do you not swab with alcohol first?
There's no thumbs up botton on your channel... Are you being shadowbanned by YT?
Good job on the weight loss. You look great.
Ahh! I hope not! I'll check it out!
just got mine today and will be starting tomorrow, hope this works

So I’m also on compounded semaglutide and it looks like the vial will last about 10 weeks or so. I noticed that the vial says that the compounded medication is stable for 45 days in the fridge. I’ll probably call the pharmacy tomorrow and ask about it but I just wonder how accurate this is and why they would give me enough medication for so many weeks if the stability isn’t guaranteed after 45 days. Anyhow, wasn’t sure if you noticed the same thing on your vial. Let me know! 💚🐝
Through much anecdotal evidence, I’ve been told it lasts much longer as long as it’s refrigerated
Yes I used mine passed the date written. Did you call? What did they say? Id love to know!
@@KarliSine I called and had a consult over the phone and the pharmacist told me that the vile is good for 90 days… whew! That’s what I hoped he would say. I’m so glad I called instead of tossing it after a month!
Mine is for 3 months hmmm
@@juliaortiz1081yep! I spoke with the pharmacist and he said 90 days. Whew!
May I know the needle size please? Thank you. Is 26g okay?
Am I the one one that this you don’t need to loose weight? I think you look great, why loose more weight?
Wow,How unsterile. There was no cleaning of the area with alcohol wipe at all.
You should probably sterilise the top of that vial first with and alcohol prep
I notice your S compound is red. My T is clear, making it hard to see when you pull up the med into syringe. I had several injections I’ve suspected I didn’t really inject anything. Thoughts?
It’s B-12
I just took my first shot today. I was nervous because three videos I saw before this one the medicine was clear but, when I got to yours it the same exact color as mine. My semiglutide is with B12
Question how long have you been using it? And how much weight did you lose the first month?
First month I lost 16 pounds. It’s different for even one because of different doses and blood sugar levels. But I took it weekly for 5 months and lost 55 pounds. And then I’m now taking it every other week
Where can I buy semaglutide online safely?
I injected my first shot but got a small bump is that normal 😩
Thanks. Needed to see this. A bit nervous.
Perez Helen Williams George White Melissa
I didn't see you use an alcohol wipe before or after. Do you usually use them to prevent infection?
Yes I use them! They’re provided!
I did mine in my b elly and I didn't even feel anything when the needle went through 😂😂
Do you take the maintenance shot just once a month?
Thank you I start Wednesday. I am so nervous about the needle and this really helped a lot.
Oh it’s sooo tiny!! You’ll do great!
I just got mine and I can’t bring myself to stick my leg! I’m also really worried about nausea/vomiting
Update: I took my first dose this morning in my thigh. A mosquito bite hurts worse! I tried to inject it slowly but got anxiety after seeing the needle in my skin..better luck next time 😅 thank you for giving me the courage to finally start!
Why injection on thighs?
Can you tell me where you purchase yours please?
You're attractive, but need more muscle. Don't forget to lift weights and prioritize your protein. 💪😎
Strange compliment. haha I do lift weights. Obviously not enough for you to think i'm the correct amount of attractive. lol

should i go with 2mg or 5mg ..... $40 / $80
How do you know how much units to inject?
Why is it red? Insulin is typically clear unless it’s a 70/30 which is kind of cloudy.
I just took mine and I got nervous because the other videos show the shot clear but mine is with B12 and hers is the same exact color as the one I took. Which made me feel better but, I think we are getting mostly B12 than semiglutide 😒
@@donnag.126 B12 definitely is the same color.
It’s not insulin. It’s Semaglutide and in this video mine was compounded with b12
From "all" pharmacy viewpoint, does each pharmacy compound this in house? I wonder if everyone is getting different compounds and that's why it works differently on people? Ozempic name brand is made with "strict" tolerances per dose, generic can cheat on exact amounts and differ, any thoughts on this Karli???
My concerns not using Ozempic:
Is compounded semaglutide legit?
FDA has received adverse event reports after patients used compounded semaglutide.
Patients should not use a compounded drug if an approved drug is available to treat a patient.
Hi! Yes, a compounded medication can not be FDA approved because it's made per prescription. The name brand stuff is pre made and is fda approved. I loved my experience and I did the compounded Semaglutide. If you're uncomfortable with taking a compounded med, there are definitely other options!
No I don’t I would rather be fat than die
How long did it take for you to lose 50 pounds? You look great. Will maintenance be for life? I watched your shorts, you don’t look to have any lose skin or did you have it and it shrank on after a whole? 😊. Thank you.
I'll make some videos on these questions. But real quick, my skin shockingly snapped back. I upped my water intake... maybe that's why? I still have loose skin though! Just not super Saggy. My maintenance is still weekly, but I will eventually get to once a month and then hopefully come off of it once I feel ready! It took me 4.5 months to lose 50!
@@KarliSine I thank you for the reply! Great job!
This video was very helpful as I'm starting my first injection of tirzepatide from a vial and I was wondering if you have heard of people starting at a lesser dose than what was prescribed. I have known sensitivities to just about every medication I've been on and I am always on a smaller dose than normal. Wondering if it's ok to start less than the recommended 2.5mg of tirzepatide and if so, what results others have had doing this.
Yes I know a lot of people will change their dosing. But if you're worried at all just reach out to your provider about it! :)
Where can I get terzpatide ??
I got mine from Henry Meds. Well, I got semaglutide from there. But they have the other stuff, too. @@vixenvalenzuela
I have a needle phobia and have been having major anxiety about started this, but I think after watching 10,000 videos on how to do it, Im going to finally do it. Wish me luck, thank you for the awesome tips!
Did you do it? I was the same way and thought there wasn't any way I would be able to give a shot to myself. I finally did it and honestly, the needle was so thin I didn't feel it at all.
@ambercaredio33 yes I finally did it, but it wasn't for me. Day 3 I was having some gnarly side effects so I gave the other 11 week dosages to a friend.
How many mg in the .15 units ?
Wow she’s stunningly hot!

Yay!!! So happy for you!
Literally the same thing I said! I start Sunday and this video is a life saver
Wht to do I have to gain thigh mass..
Subcutaneous injections are not as bad as you might think. If it's your first time just make sure you have things sterile, learn the method and give it a go.
