I have one. I haven't opened the package yet. I am still on my foundation course. My exam is on the 1st Sept. Until I get a call sign it will stay unpacked. I will be watching your videos closely as I haven't a clue at the moment :-)

    Nice vid. Thanks.
Just got my 60th version so will look forward to your future videos.
Do you have a link for the DV Mega please? The only ones I could find look nothing like to one appearing here.

Hi Andreas, I received my one a few days ago, did you download the repeater from the UK site or Japan as Icom UK have not programmed the radio.

Hi Andreas, thank you firstly for all your videos they really have inspired me to do my license in Ham radio, just a quick question, I have my foundation exam in a few weeks, would you suggest the Icom ID52 plus 60th anniversary over the Icom ID52? I have the funds for the plus but just wanted to check your opinion l.
    Many thanks

    Nice review!
Dealers here in VK have the older ID-52A on sale for £307 ($595AUD) so I got one and really like it.
Must say I am not a fan of the silver, but USB C would be great.
Shame Icom did not supply a 60th Anniversary leather case with it.

Hi Andreas. I cannot think of anyone other than your good self that can afford £620 for a handheld radio
I paid less than that for my Yaesu FT-897D. To be honest, Icom are not my favourite brand of radio; they have reliability and customer service problems in my experience. 😕 Undeniably that looks like a good radio with astonishing audio.

Can you upload the program from the id52 straight or the id52 plus from the old SD Card?

I bought this thinking I could do APRS. ICOM dosnt have a software yet and nifty has no manual yet RT systems hasn’t made the programming software yet

Any thoughts on which one you would pick if you could only have one? I'm currently undecided between the two at the moment myself.

I wonder if they fixed the issue with this radio steaming up in the cold?

    0:52... I HIGHLY doubt that it's a titanium case.

Andreas, this doesn't seem much different from the original ICOM ID-52. Am I wrong?
