Before I clicked play I imagined the groove of "Tush" to "Seek and destroy" in my mind and I was on the right track. Very cool and pro production. Guy's got skills.
Im a 80s metal head through and through with seek and destroy prob one of my favourite songs. I didnt know what to expect when i clicked on it. I am so blown away by how good this is. You have given this song a completely new life in its own right. The comments show how good your adaptation is. Will certainly be looking for more. Kudos to you!!!!
As a teen in the early 90's, me and a friend were shrooming in a field in Sugarland. The owner saw us and chased us away. We jumped his fence and a few more then found ourselves lost in a patch of woods. We found a tall brick wall and climbed over it hoping for a way to a road. On the other side was this big circular driveway and a big ass house/ mansion with a few awesome hot rods and motorcycles out front. As we were checking out one of the bikes, the front door opened and a dude with 2 much larger dudes on either side came out. Although I was (and am) a metalhead and drummer, I immediately recognized the middle guy and blurted out "Holy shit! You're Frank Beard!". He says "Hey guys. You're a fan?". "Hell ya! ZZ Top is the shit!". "That's kind of you to say, but what exactly are you doing here fellas?". We apologized to him and told him the story. We were lost and just want to go home. He was really cool about it. He said just follow the driveway down and the gate guard would let them know which way to go. I wanted to ask for a pair of autographed sticks, but I really didn't want to push my luck. On my life, this is a 100% true story.

The thing about doing this via the eyes of Dusty and Billy is that you UNDERSTAND their feel of their instruments.. "Blues" to be exact. I like this version because it's more spacious and therefore more rhythmic and soulful... You captured / mimicked ZZ's souls.❤️✅

This is straight up amazing. Almost as good as Motörhead covering Metallica. And that’s high praise. Second in line after Lemmy is amazing. In fact, some Motörhead songs would probably sound fantastic as ZZTop covers. This is just incredibly well done. Again, amazing. Also, Frank is a great drummer.
As a fan of both ZZ Top (hence my name) & MetallicA... this is amazing. You totally captured the vibe of that little ol' band from Texas incredibly well, here. Even when I first heard MetallicA do Seek & Destroy, I already knew it had a bit of that going for it already. This started playing randomly after I was listening to ZZ Top. It took a solid minute for me to wonder when the hell ZZ Top covered this song. Since it was playing from my tablet over my portable speaker, I couldn't see the screen from where I was. I finally went over to the tablet to see this in fact, was not ZZ Top. You are so good I was convinced ZZ Top covered this song. 10/10, liked, subscribed.

Holy crap, Metallica in the form of ZZ Top sounds damn cool. There's just something about those boogie type blues that adds a whole new dimension to the song and with the addition of using the slide it makes it even more incredible sounding.
