Public Safety Diver Drill 1
The 5 minute drill, is designed to maximize the productivity of a public safety diving operation. Divers are giving 5 minutes to gear up from street clothes, assuming there gear is already put together and secured appropriately. Teams who do not use drysuits will usually already be suited up and then have 5 minutes to put your gear together and gear up. As with any skill demonstrated, these skills are demonstrated by professionals, and you are strongly encourages to seek proper training before trying these skills.

So when is the safety diver supposed to wear his weight belt?

Well in this video, it just so happens that this rig is balanced out, but does have weight integrated pouches just in case.
