Drake Bell, known for his role as a child star, is now speaking up about something serious for the first time: the S A he faced when he was just 15 years old. He's bravely sharing his story on an upcoming TV series called "Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV," which is scheduled to air on March 17 and 18.
In the documentary, Drake Bell reveals that he was abused by Brian Peck, who worked as a dialogue coach on Nickelodeon's shows like "All That" and "The Amanda Show." Bell was part of "The Amanda Show" cast from 1999 to 2002, and later starred in his own Nickelodeon series, "Drake & Josh," which began in 2004.
Peck faced serious legal trouble when he was arrested in August 2003 on 11 charges linked to accusations of S A involving an unnamed child. In May 2004, Peck pleaded no contest to engaging in a lewd act with a 14- or 15-year-old and to oral copulation with a minor under 16. As a result, he was sentenced to 16 months in prison and was required to register as an offender in October 2004.
For more than 20 years, Drake Bell kept his identity hidden as the minor involved in that case.

When the network began, they should've done background checks for every single person who worked for that studio.

I think since Nick and DIsney are businesses they did their best to make the shows as well as the idea of fame to be the most glamorous thing imaginable and they were successful.
But barely anyone questions why some of these child stars act out and have breakdowns when they get older. It then takes years for them to truly come out and tell their stories that its then reveled the true cost of what of it means to be a star and with social media it has become more easier than ever to get clout that people do whatever they can to one up each other in order to get views.
It's even worse knowing he went through hell and chose to put someone else through similarly horrible scenarios. Everyone is losing here, sadly.

But that’s been an issue in Hollywood for decades with child celebrities. The camera is now a reminder of who has suffered behind the scenes working in Hollywood. And we’ve seen a lot history of that going as far as the 1900s. Before Gen-Z was even a generation of human beings alive on Earth. It was during the Silent Generation, Boomer, Gen-X and Millennials generation era. And like all other older generations before, they kept blaming the younger generations of those times. And the same is happening to Gen-Z and Gen Alpha and the young generations are tired of it and want to break that cycle with the ones that had suffered trauma by their older generations.

Nick deserves to be canceled I am so proud of Drake for doing this. However, he is taking a big risk and I just don't mean with his own legal troubles. Turns out the case against Drake that happened with the teen, was dropped due to lack of evidence. Yeah the teen was just playing victim cards, and blaming someone who was just doing his tours and P.O.V backstage meet n greets and nothing else. Drake bell has been abused as a child, but that would never cause someone to do the same thing due to how traumatic the situation is in their lifetime. Dan Schneider should’ve been in jail for the rest of his life, and not roam free preying on children. Drake Bell is innocent.
Abuse can absolutely result in the victim doing the same thing to another person. That's why it's called a cycle of abuse. I'm saying Drake is or isn't innocent, but don't say that being traumatized would mean he would never hurt someone. In most cases of abuse, the abuser was once a victim.
Example, my great grandfather was ashamed of being mixed race during a time where it could literally get you killed if anyone even knew. He took it out on my grandfather and abused him until he ran away as a teenager. My grandfather was the type to use a belt to discipline, not caring where it hit you or if it left welts. My father has had to fight to keep that cycle from continuing. He'd go outside and punch trees to get out the anger he was taught. I can't say the same for his sister, my aunt. I don't know how bad it was when I wasn't around, but what I did see made it no surprise when her kids begged to go live with their dad.

You're wrong about the part where a victim can turn into an abuser. It's been proven in court, numerous witness accounts, and case studies that victims can indeed be abusers, sometimes even worse than the original abuser.
People also forget that the girl's aunt and aunt's friends were with her at the venue and him backstage and they brought her to his hotel room the next day in December 2017. He isn't totally innocent but he definitely didn't do everything that the girl claimed in her impact statement.

No, the victim lied in her story and he was found non guilty of ever doing something to the girl. However, he did pleas guilty to child endangerment to finish the case. He was found guilty of child endangerment because of the situation, even if once he realized he was texting to a minor, he immidiately quitted.
He's just loved here (I live in Mexico) because Drake and Josh awas insanely popular and we all like Drake. Since he's been generally kind to his fans in the country, the country loves him back. That's why he changed his name "Bell" to the Spanish equivalent, "Campana".

Having had close family work in Hollywood, as I’ve heard, this was a common occurrence for many years. Although I can’t say much for Nickelodeon, Universal and Sony had many underlying problems with subtle Sexual Assault and Harassment on set with many well known tv shows that were simply swept under the carpet as to not cause controversy.

At 4 in 1999 I already could tell, Disney shows and Nick shows had really dark undertones. I could tell the actors and actresses that were children were being abused… as I grew up I just kept seeing it grow more and more darker and darker. I never found the shows funny or entertaining, more annoying than anything. But seeing the fear and hurt in all of their eyes, I could relate to them and seeing them be successful some how made me accept my own punishment and theirs. Psychologically those channels are weapons against homes and all viewers.
If he gets Nickelodeon cancelled that’ll be great cuz the only gud thing to come from it today is Paw Patrol, Thundermans Return, Transformers Earthspark and possibly the Fairly Odd Parents sequel

Drake Bell needs to know what he went through is not okay and also what he did to another child is not okay. He needed therapy to get over his trauma and stop this behavior from repeating I'm actually quiet sad for him and the his victim.
It's not really related to this video and, although I am happy Bell is speaking out, I want people to consider something. Both Armie Hammer and Drake Bell have been labeled as sex offenders online when in fact, they didn't really physically do anything to be labeled as such.
Drake flirted with an underaged fan through text messages, however, the moment he found out the individual's age, he cut off contact. She then began stalking him and accused him in court of things that there was no evidence of. Those very serious accusations were dismissed but he ended up being charged for the explicit texts.
As for Armie Hammer, who has been labeled a cannibal, was in a physical relationship with a women while already married to another. Hammer also sent kinky text messages where he would say some messed up things such as "I am going to eat you", I am going to drink your blood" "I want you to call me master", and lastly, " You belong to me". Although they can be seen as disturbing to some, at the end of the day, they've officially been dismissed in court as sexual fantasies where nothing of the sort happened.
Both these incidents appear to have been carefully orchestrated by some very vindictive people and, although I don't believe that both Bell and Hammer are angels, I simply don't believe they committed the crimes they've been accused of. Same situation as actor Vic Mignonia.
As for Vic Mignogna, it's so unfortunate for him that he never got justice for himself as he had a pretty bad lawyer and was fighting for about more than 3 years in case. Funimation screwed him over very badly along with Rooster Teeth, both of which are shutting down ironically.

I'm not gonna defend Drake on the text messages nor the ex girlfriend allegations in the past, but as so far for his case, he was never convicted of SA nor did he sent explicit material as these claims were proven false by witnesses and digital forensics which took about 2-3 years to investigate the claims fully.
Text messages and the endangerment charge (the accuser was entering his concerts that were only for 18 and up, which he got charged for not being aware of as it she was surrounded by numerous adults which partook in violating his "duty of care") were the only things he plead guilty too. Just stating the facts here
As for what happened to him more than 2 decades ago, it's very sickening to what Brain Peck did to him and how much damage it did to Drake.
Do you have any sources for any of this? I’m not saying it’s not true, but when I research the issue all I can find are articles talking about him pleading guilty on both counts of child endangerment and sending explicit material.
