Insane build but I wouldn't expect anything less. Makes me want to build another K24 hatch but boosted this time. I am just like you in that I started with Honda and moved to Subaru many years ago but still have love for Honda for sure.

Love the Civic content, even as a deeply entrenched Subaru guy. What's going to sound better: The 1200WHP EJ25 or the 1000WHP K20. Better yet, which one will win in the qtr mile...probably the Civic if the STI doesn't get a sequential.

On the k24? Nah it ripped the wrist pin right out of piston and ripped rod in half at 800+ awhp lol 10/10 don’t recommend

It’s a driveshaft loop to help protect fuel tanks if driveshaft ever breaks

For ppl that want to do a motor like urs is there any way u can tell us how much it cost to have a motor built and turbo set up you have with ur new motor
Longblock was around $18k, transmission with billet tcase and bellhousing is 23k, 2k triple disc clutch , turbo kit was around $12k.

thats pretty much impossible with the k20c1.. There's a reason there is barely any 1k hp fk8s.
It’s not impossible, but the only rods on the market that can even hold(ish) that power level are only rated for 800. Anyone who’s tried to push a K20C that far has ended up with some very short-lived fun.
@@dustinwithay Pretty much, its not worth the hassle to overcome the K20c1's direct injection when you can pick up any junk K-series and throw a few grand at it and make it capable of 800whp lol.
