Can't wait for the Uniheart review, it's the most interesting new knife I've seen in a while, I like how wide the blade is and how the saber grind goes almost to the spine, it should be a mean slicer. I'm probably going to get one just for the looks alone, that false swedge is so elegant
I agree. It is a joy to hold. Thanks for commenting
Great Line Up Of Blades & Sheathes Shared Mark ! Can't Wait For Your Tests ! ATB T God Bless
Thanks for commenting Terry
Brother, your smile and tone of voice on some of them, says it all. Keep being you!
Just letting my inner knife geek out for a spin😅. Thanks for commenting
Wow, that is an incredible lineup. I think BPS and Beavercraft are going to give Mora a serious run for the money. If you can get the same blades but with a wooden handle and a beautiful leather sheath that is much nicer than plastic all around.
I agree. Thanks for commenting
Nice preview of the new knives and I am looking forward to seeing the reviews. Happy spring Mark!
Thanks! You too! Thanks for commenting
the modern pukkos are fantastic knifes even though they are military knifes they are fantastic bushcraft knifes they are full tang I'm a big fan of pukkos knifes best cutting design can get baton all the time even stick tang the heat treat is the best you find over all I really think you're going to love those sissy pukkos can't wait
I so agree. I can see these being some of my most used knives. Thanks for commenting
Looking forwards to the testing reviews 👍
Already started. Lots of work but fun. Thanks for commenting Alex
Really good review and necessary with the number of knives out there. I have 3 categories. Regular carry; large multi-purpose; real large machete type. Thanks for this good review!
Great way to divide them up. Thanks for commenting
Officially a trouble causer....what a list. Because I'm a mora fan I ordered the Sitka from decathlon...wow razor blade and the handle is fat...beautiful hold...thanks so much proof that not all knives are 300.00..looking forward to reviews. Great sheath too...
Right on. Hope to work on that review soon. Thanks for commenting
I'm in trouble bought the ezonda....wow beauty hidden in China...thank you....hello from finally wet but sunny ontario
I am looking forward to testing this one out. Thanks for commenting neighbour
G'day Mark, just finished watching this one again. I feel like a "pig in poo" ; )
Without getting into specifics ..... there's some nice ones ........ some really nice ones ..... and some really, really nice ones. In short, plenty to look forward to. Cheers Duke.
I am living the good life Duke😊
Really looking forward to you reviewing the Rokka and Peltonen. I want a new outdoor knife, and have been eyeing the Rokka, Peltonen and Terävä Jääkäripuukko 110. They are all very similar in terms of materials, so Im looking forward to see how they compare vs the Terävä Jääkäripuukko.
I will likely compare the Peltonen with the TJ110 when I do my review. Thanks for commenting
Knives are like books... There's no end😊👍
So true. More knives have arrived since I made this video. Thanks for commenting
I can’t wait to see your Rampage Coffee collection (aka, the fifty pound bag of the stuff….🤓😉) So many knives, so little time. They all look great, looking forward to seeing your reviews. The axes have cool looking heads and handle colors. ✌️🇺🇸🇨🇦✌️
My Rampage keeps disappearing😅 Thanks for commenting
Thank you for a preview of upcoming reviews.👍
Most welcome. Thanks for commenting
Good knives those ZA -Pas, I have the expendable and the ultra outdoor knife, up to now I prefer the ultra outdoor.
I will take a look at that model. Thanks for commenting
@@MarkYoungBushcraft it's basically just a smaller model than the expendable.
You are going to be a busy man Mark . Haven't tried magnacut yet but 3V is my favourite steel . Insanely sharp, tough as nails . Looking forward to your opinions
I just recorded the two videos I mentioned. Could not dull either steel. I have heard that Magnacut has a slight edge in toughness over 3V but it would be hard to tell the difference. Thanks for commenting
It took me a whole year to get my magnacut blade to the point that I needed to sharpen it
I can believe that. I have my comparison with the regular FreeReign ready to release soon. Thanks for commenting
That SRK is a beauty.
Sure is. Thanks for commenting
You will be busy getting all those knives tested and reviewed Mark. I look forward to learning a bit more about all of them. I will say I bought my boys each a #beavercraft young adventurer knife for easter and I am really pleased with the quality of these little knives. The knife and sheathes are just great. Thanks for sharing Mark!
Good choice for the boys. Thanks for commenting Steve
The Expendable looks like something I may be interested in. And for the price, the Beavercraft gouge is a winner.
Right on. Both would be great choices. Thanks for commenting
Wow...great teaser video. Looking forward to the reviews! Thanks again Mark
Most welcome. Thanks for commenting
Very cool bunch of knives, I look forward to seeing all your upcoming full reviews on them all. 👍Both that Demko in cpmMagnaCut and the SRK in cpm3-V are very cool. 😎Thanks for sharing, take care my friend and Cheers!
I made my comparison videos of the knives in the two steels. Spoiler alert. I could not dull either. Thanks for commenting my friend
I used to take some of my knives to be scanned at the Law Courts security X ray machine to see how far down the tang goes.
Interesting way of doing it. I have been using a rare earth magnet. Thanks for commenting
I have the original w.t.g. forrester and kodiak. 1 in saddle grade keather and 1 in kydex. My condor bushlore may go in the vehicle survival kit and all with sharp 90 degree spine for ferro rods which i use exclusively. So many choices and all are subjective to ones own preference. I rely heavily on your reviews and gratefull for your time testing.
That is the thing. The more knives I test, the more I learn and the more I refine my preferences. Thanks for commenting
No Grohmann knives?
No new knives from Grohmann. I have a full video on the ones I own though. Thanks for commenting
Something to look forward to!
Already have a few review made. Coming soon. Thanks for commenting
BPS knives are legit
Right on. Thanks for commenting
Those Pukko knives look great. Also those WTG knives look very well made. Ive been eyeballing one of those Adler axes for awhile now. I was scared away from them when I saw some in person at REI that had terrible grain orientation and the head was not even mounted correct (there was a gap in the eye and it wasn't parallel with the handle) hopefully what I saw was just a one off issue and not a representation of their product line.
I can say the two Adler axes are spot on as far as quality control goes. Very impressed. Thanks for commenting
Awsome🤓🥳🥳🥳
Thanks for commenting
My!
You are going to be busy
Peltonen M07 Ranger is also made uncoated with a composite sheath
It is a scandi grind not a saber, so it would be suited to bushcraft much more than the version you have
I have one on the way, and will let you know how it is
It will be closer to the VarustelekaTerävä Jääkäripuukko 110, but with a much more comfortable handle
I asked for the uncoated but they sent the coated. I may compare with the TJ110 in my review. Thanks for commenting
Next week, the forks.
Hmmm, interesting idea. Thanks for commenting
I’ll be curious to see your opinion on that Nordic Defender's blade design. Will there be any pros or cons to that blade shape. I can see some downs, but there must be something to it.
Also, when you compare the steels, I’d like if it’s possible to not just test how the steel handles use, but also how hard it is to sharpen.
Good luck testing, amd be safe!
Oh, long handle is always better on an axe.
So much work. If I am lucky, I won't have to sharpen the 3V and Magnacut because they won't dull😅. Thanks for commenting Jim
im interested to see how the 5cr15 knives perform
Me as well. I would assume it is a cheap low-end performing steel but who knows. That is what the testing is for. Thanks for commenting
Haha! Looks you were having fun and will have fun testing all of these knives.
So much fun for sure. Thanks for commenting
Don't remind them to raise the price due to the sheet....
Right on. Thanks for commenting
How's the handles on the BPS knifes I have bought 2 of there knifes and had to return them due to defects? Which makes me sad because I want to like them
No issues with the wood itself. Same for the BeaverCraft knives. However, the handles did not mate up senselessly with the spine. This was true for all knives. Not off by much but more than you might get with a higher price knife. They also moved a tiny bit with use. Very easy to adjust the handles for a better, tighter fit. Also easy to sand if needed. Was your issue something wrong with the wood?
@@MarkYoungBushcraft what I was seeing on the knifes was there handles were to small and it left about 1mm or more all the way around the handle this lead to a sharp edge all the way around so much so I cut my hand well holding it
@@MoxFoxhobbies wow..not good. I have 5 Ukraine made knives and none were that bad. Unfortunate. I may talk about that in the video reviews
@@MoxFoxhobbiesfor the price of them I had no issue with doing a little postprocessing myself basically cleaning up the knife a little. Just take the scales off, bevel the edge of the base of the knife, and while you have the scales off give em a light sanding with a red scotch pad and a coat of your favorite stain or oil (mine is just a few coats of boiled lineseed oil). I've got plans to 3d print scales for mine using either petg or abs for the base and having a TPU outer section for extra grip. The BS3 leather sheath does fit a mora companion hd perfectly btw.
@@MarkYoungBushcraft I don't know if is clear to see but I did unboxing of both knifes on my channel if you wish to see. That said I do have the beavercraft DUNE on its way to me and I'll be checking it as well
Polish one has no English on their website
Yeah, I noticed but Chrome did a translate for me. There is another company selling these blades as well. I will include that link in the review video. Thanks for commenting
