There will be a 2nd edition of the game released later this year that will come with the optional board game. There will also be an expansion which allows for a 5th player, player powers, and more gather/craft cards.
Either I read the rules wrong or they have changed since I last played. As I remember it, the dice used on the "X" blocks are not removed from the game, they are instead returned to the general supply.
I'm a proud Kickstarter backer of this game (and the Queen's Jubilee additional cards and the optional player board), as well as the upcoming Apprentices expansion. It was well worth the money. Art is fantastic, materials are quality, easy to learn and play. As far as the game itself plays, it's definitely 30-60 once the players know the rules. I managed to get a few of my friends into it, my first game was a 3-man (I lost by a steal!). It should be noted that there are a couple (2) misprinted cards in the first edition, but all subsequent editions and the Apprentices expansion fix those. In all, though, definitely a solid game, and I love how well the theme was tied into it. 8.5/10 from me as-is, 9-9.5/10 with the fixed cards and a house rule or two (I play with more cards for a longer game, and up the win limit to 5-7).
Hey, just a thought, but you may want to mention in the video (Text Bubble) that the "Black Metal Dice" you refer to them as, are not actual metal dice, but the resource type. I could see people getting pumped about grabbing a ton of cool metal dice...
I love dice games! This looks great. I checked around and can not find it for sale yet. They say it will be out later the year. I will hopefully buy it when it comes out for sale to the public.
I really like the design elements of this game and the mechanics look good, but I have no desire to play a game with this theme. That is probably silly of me but I have to like a theme in order to want to play a game more than once (unless coerced by others).

@ 4:05, Are the dice destroyed that way put back in the game box so other players (or yourself) can't acquire them later in the game?

Where can you buy this?
Doesn't this game come w/ a board too? Though I'm not sure it needs it.
Great game. Wish my gaming group would be more willing to give it a chance.
