The younger boy, as well- he held that pen with such confidence and exploratory vision. And dad- awesome island!!! Beautiful kitchen.

I lived in So Cal my whole life. The neutral color scheme has to do with the outdoors there. Nothing you can do inside can compete. Best to compliment it with neutral natural tones. Though I’m now a maximalist… and now in AZ … I do appreciate this neutral aesthetic for its subtlety.
Karen and her family look familiar to me. I'm pretty sure she and her family were featured in Carley Summer's book, "Sacred Spaces." It's definitely an unconventional read for those who like interior design books.
