    Out of nowhere I suddenly started struggling with anxiety. A friend who had also struggled with pain and anxiety told me about Nick Ortner's Tapping. I was willing to try anything to make my anxiety go away so I purchased Nick Ortner's book called The Tapping Solution and also watched his UA-cam videos. I started Tapping and I was amazed at the results. I went in with an open mind and I am so happy I did. Within a short period of time, I was noticing my anxiety was getting better and better until I was no longer living most of my days feeling so anxious. I do the tapping every day especially whenever I am feeling overwhelmed, including just before going to sleep. I started looking forward to my Tapping. For me, it became my personal time to connect with my inner self and emotions. I would highly recommend this to everyone.

    Im literally here commenting because I just went to the dentist yesterday and I had high anxiety about it. I told him I have anxiety generally and so after he did my dental work he started this tapping for my anxiety. I had no idea what to expect. He started tapping on my forehead and under my eye and making me repeat the things he was saying about releasing my anxiety and fears. I literally burst into tears and couldnt control it. It was the most deeply cleansing cry I ever had and i felt physically lighter afterwards. Im definitely going to look further into it because i was blown away.

      You have an amazing and compassionate dentist!! Every doctor needs to understand more about anxiety and how it affects all of us differently. And the number one thing they need to get rid of is the term, "White Coat Syndrome". It's anxiety plain and simple. We all have it and some throughout the day and not only when visiting the doctors or dentist. I'm happy he did that for you. I am looking in to tapping myself.

      I didn’t believe a word of it, gave it a go. Like you I burst into tears out of nowhere, and felt sedated afterwards.
      No idea why it works. I don’t believe the “official” explanation. I just know it works.

    I believe in tapping. I had a cancer scare 2 years ago. I was in a group meeting and my anxiety was at an 11. Someone in the group pulled up The Tapping Solution app and I did it for about 10 minutes. My anxiety went from an 11 to a 3!!! I haven't made the time to tap as much as I should, but I intend to do it more and with my 6 year old. Help her learn to manage this crazy life at a young age. Thank you Nick Ortner!!!

    I just want to add that only so much can be covered in a short segment and this only touched the surface on tapping. If someone tries tapping on themselves and doesn't get results, that doesn't mean tapping didn't or can't work for you. It means you need someone with more experience who knows how to get to the root cause underneath the presenting problem. It's amazing and it's not just for physical issues but also for removing blocks to love, money, success, healthy relationships....

    I'm a huge believer of volition, and I've always felt that when you truly align your desires with your own will, and believe wholeheartedly that you will achieve the ideal in mind, the wish completes itself by granting it to you. The key to all of this is belief, it doesnt matter if it's tapping, or stroking yourself repeatedly, or doing any ritualistic gestures over your body, the so-called miraculous technique works by harnessing "complete faith in self-belief, " it's a quintessential wisdom of life really, one that western civilizations figured out in ancient times too but abandoned it. I'm happy to see they're rediscovering now and that the ppl who are into it are humble enough to let that groundless belief in it show through even when they spoke about it to others, without trying to market this as some other more empirically grounded scientifically proven method, because that's not it, maketing it that way would be twisting it into orthodoxy, and it's the furthest thing from the essence of this discovery

    I believe this. If you go trough a lot stress, negativity feelings, that can take a toll in your body. I relative young and never had a serious illness,but couple years ago mi son was diagnosed with a kidney decease ,for me was a hard blow and also had a financial hardship. I was kind of loss and that I believe set up my Arthritis. I got promoted in my job and things Star to work better, but my Arthritis stayed. I see an specialist every three months and nothing really work for me. Now I’m trying this method and feeling better, I think my body did this to myself and should get rid of it too. I’m trying to positive and focus to heal my body and enjoy my life and my family.

      No. It is using the "electrical switching" effect. You use speech, touch, and a focus on a routine all at once. Meridians are like electrical splicing points that connect nerve bundles. Touch one & you get a whole bundle. I suggest sing-song or singing rather than speaking the words used. That activates an additional physiological layer. Equally use tapping to embed positive goals. Use it to make dreams come closer, portion control, anything. But it must be done exactly the same, correctly, every time. A hundred sloppy tapping youtubes, so watch them all until you get what is correct.

      I agree that's what it most probably is. It's harder to stay fused with your distressing thoughts or physical pain while speaking and concentrating on repetitive movement and sensations at the same time. It's a combination of already known psychological techniques like distraction. Actual scientific studies have found no evidence to support the existence of Meridian points. As in every successful pseudo-scientific article there's the working part crusted with some mysticism and unfalsifiable theories.

      They are subtle energy channels that run throughout your body. The energy is also connected to organs in the body and the emotions of that organs. That's why tapping on emotions/feelings and descriptions are important to release those energetic blocks.

      @@JoanneJaworski thank you for this explanation. my question is, how is this different from neurological hotspots? how do we know they arent actually just areas in the body where many neurons are clustered together, able to send stronger signals to the rest of the body, than perhaps other spots?

      @JoanneJaworski 3 роки тому

      @@user-lw3ri8us4w I am not an expert and don't have experience in neurological hotspots. I can say that Meridians are not just hot spots. They are channels that run through different pathways with different spots along the channels that relate to different meaning/targets. The tapping points are points in the channels--not hot spots. An acupuncturist could answer your question more thoroughly.

      They didn't get into all the specifics of what was going on since this was a short interview. She tapped on specific scripts in the book that were effective enough to achieve results. EFT practitioners don't necessarily need to know or focus on the diagnosis (if one has been given). How the clients FEELS or has reacted to a situation or how they are replaying a root incident, is more of what would be more significant to a practitioner--though sometimes bringing in the words of a diagnosis in certain examples might help.

    Excuse me, Nick Ortner! EFT may work... including your application of it. However you just showed yourself incapable of communicating an answer to a simple question: Megyn Kelly asked you "what is a meridian?" Your "response" was a non-answer which would not teach anyone who did not already know what a meridian is: "Yeah, so we have these end points in our body. We have these meridian systems" was not an answer to the question. How about to LISTEN and communicate AS IF you were a teacher instead of an "expert" or promoter interested only in launching into your spiel. Sad.

      KIM YUGYEOM have you read The Great Pain Deception? Or anything by Dr Sarno? Fibromyalgia is talked about through those books. Tapping should work. Your brain is trying to protect you from something, so it’s holding onto the pain. Ask yourself what the pain is giving you. I have severe rheumatoid arthritis and tapping is working very well for me.

    • @takincareofbusiness5793

    • @JoanneJaworski
      @JoanneJaworski 4 роки тому +1

      The increase in pain might have been also saying to you, yes, you are hitting the right channel where it's holding. I would've suggested to keep lightly tapping since that does allow the energy system to work through it and then release it. And yes, I have seen it release Fibro and so many other ailments...and blocks to success too!

      It didn't heal my RA, but it did make me feel temporarily better. I stopped using it as a regular practice after about two weeks because I just didn't think the effects would be permanent. I think the reason why tapping will work over time is that it forces you to acknowledge feelings and purge them from your system. RA can be triggered by stress, and tapping helps alleviate stress.

      So you shouldn't trust your doctor because their textbooks were basically written by the pharmaceutical industry. That doesn't mean that all doctors are scam artists. Everyone has to make a living. I never understood how no one questions the ethics of an engineer or dentist but when it comes to emotional work all of a sudden people worry about if the practitioner is ethical. Of course you should do your research but don't mistrust something simply because it's not mainstream or because someone is making money off it.
