James thank you for discussing one of the issues with Too Faced. As someone who used to use Too Faced eyeshadow palettes religiously from 2016-2017, I can tell that the palettes have been looking the same recently. I think it’s because they were bought out by Estée Lauder, because ever since that happened….they haven’t come out with any crazy good new products other than the Ethereal concealer. Their prime years were definitely 2014-2016 especially with their holiday collections. If they truly want to bring back those glory years and rebuild their fan base back, they need to start creating products and collections that are completely brand new, and not sister collections to what they already have.

These stores are in most outlet malls! A lot of touristy/vacation destinations have outlets with stores like this and discount luxury perfume stores!! I used to get Bobbi Brown eyeshadow singles 1/2 off at places like this :)

The Cosmetics Company Store is actually own by Estee Lauder Company. it's not expired makeup, its mostly a way for them to sell "older" or overstock products and still make a profit even tho it's cheaper. So win win for everyone.

So funny enough, I worked for The Cosmetics Company store! It’s an Overstock store, and we will usually get products that either the company has too much of, or products that have finished a release (like a Christmas collection or holiday collection) where they haven’t sold everything. The company sells anything under the Estée Lauder ownership, and they even have Tom Ford makeup! When I worked there, I built a full drag makeup kit worth about $4,000, for like $1,000 haha! We would always be checking for expiration dates, and anything that did expire on the shelves would be boxed up, and sent to corporate to be destroyed, so no expired makeup is sold!
Bobbi Brown is slept on way too much their shadow sticks are a godsend and stay on forever!! You should review some more of their stuff bc I’m so curious!
