  • This planted tank nature aquarium aquascape is just 4 weeks old. It's an Aquascaper 600 that I aquascaped for my friend, Steven. It's amongst the fastest plant growth I've ever seen!
Let me know in the comments what fish you'd like to see in here.
    Keep on scaping!

    Excellent work, George!
It has grown in astonishingly well. Must be doing it right!
I love the mixture of carpeting plants, makes the plants look as if they'd interweaved in nature rather than the uniform, controlled setting. The hydrocotyle is probably my favourite plant in the setup as it breaks up the texture and stands out nicely. This is a kind of scape that I dream of one day having.
As far as fish suggestions go I would like to see in this tank something like glowlight tetra (Hemigrammus erythrozonus) - their near transparent bodies contrasted by the fiery-red glow from the inside. And it wouldn't be me not to mention my favourite golden pencilfish (Nannostomus beckfordi) too.
    Keep on scaping!

Hello George, It seems I am running a bit late on your videos, but I still love watching them!
I am an X- fishkeeper. I retired and here I am again. THINGS HAVE CHANGED DRASTICALLY, but for the better.
If by chance, you are still doing scapes, could you or a friend tell me The ratio on the CO2, the fog apparatus and probably all the other techniques used to produce the Marvelous Tank you created?
I am having a bit of trouble understanding some of your words and please dont take that wrong. You would need an interpreter to grasp my accent!!
    It is soooooo yankeefide.
    Love your work!!

Incredible how that's grown so well. I think for fish you need the emperor tetra. Good size and some lovely colouring but not to bold to take all the attention when you first look at the tank, with that lush planted background. 👌

Fantastic work! 4 week plant growth is unreal!! I can see the delight in your face at the beginning of the video. :-)
I've just bought an Eheim Pro 3e 600T - Loving that filter at the moment, and no more titanium heater in the tank. Yay! Looking forward to your next videos already.
Fish wise: I've just ordered a bunch of Glowlight Danio's - I chose Danio's because they seem to enjoy high-flow tank setup's, due to where they are found in the wild. There are some amazing species of Danio out there, might be worth looking at those.

Just check the forums on the net, find some local hobbyists, I'm sure you can get some easy plants real cheap!. Someone may even give them away after trimming their own tanks. Get some java fern, java moss, a few other easy plants and you got yourself a low tech tank! You don't even need fancy substrate or fertilizers for this :)

    • @sorscha
      @sorscha 7 років тому +1

Really try to get some real plants in there! If you can source some cheap cuttings as suggested, you can establish a right proper ecosystem. So much easier to stabilise your tank levels if you can use real plants, I think, but I'm no expert.

Hi George, your mate Steven is lucky to have a friend like you to create such a great scape! I've never built an aquascape tank before and I haven't run an aquarium in a good 12 years or more. I'm curious about the lack of glass covers on your tanks. Is there a specific reason for this, apart from hard scape breaking the surface? How does it go with evaporation and "enthusiastic" fish who might leap out?

  • @pardeepgill688

    hey george, stunning growth.
Fish Wise, How about a nice big group of Pearl Gourami.
Nice impactful fish that have great personalities. Dont Mind HighFlow. And they would interact well with the Scape, they way they like to touch everything with their feelers. And then some nice dither tetras
I am going to be adding them to mine this week hopefully.
