Happy New Year 🎉🥂🎊 and thank you for a wonderful year and here’s to 2025! Enjoyed watching your video and thank you for sharing your home with us everything is beautiful 🤩 Have a wonderful week and happy stitching 😊🧵🪡🤗🤩
Happy New Year to you! I've enjoyed seeing your lovely home of Christmas. All your cross stitch and decorations are so beautiful. I love the trees. I loved seeing all of your cross-stitch projects. You showed several patterns I would love to find and make. I enjoyed seeing you video and I can't wait to see you again.
Hi Barb! I always enjoy hearing how you and your family and friends spend time together. Your traditions sounded so lovely. What special memories you all create with each other. Thanks for sharing😊
Barb, your home is so lovely and I really enjoyed seeing your decorating and Christmas stitches. I smiled when I saw your wooden tree with the broken top and how you made it work with the Santa hat. So cute. I remember seeing that video of you and Leanne and how she smiled when she saw your finish. You must miss her terribly. My bestie and I graduated in ‘74. She sadly is battling another cancer diagnosis. The memories at Christmas are so nostalgic aren’t they. I too have so many special things my best friend gifted me for Christmas over the years that I set out. It truly is a wonderful time of year to gather with loved ones and also reminisce. Blessings to you and yours and thank you for sharing your lovely home and your time and talents with us. I cross stitch some, but mostly do wool appliqué but always fun to watch floss tube to get inspired ❤
Thanks for watching and this wonderful message. I’m so sad for what your friend is going through. No one can fill their shoes. I love thinking about all the wonderful people I’ve had in my life. As hard as it is that they’re gone, many people don’t have those kind of people to miss so I. That I’m fortunate. Happy New Year to you.
Happy New year. So great seeing all your lovely projects….. I hope you end up making it to Cleveland that is where I was born and raised and it’s a great city. Raises the rock and roll hall of fame. The art museum is awesome. The science museum, lake view cemetery John D. Rockefeller, Eliot Ness, and Carl B. Stokes; members of President Lincoln's cabinet, Civil War generals and Revolutionary War soldiers, and for the best corned beef sandwiches EVER Slymans on st Clair ave. There’s so much to see and do amazing park systems and edgewater beach is a fun place to go. I have a small tree with just lights on it and I’m thinking about leaving it up for awhile
I enjoyed seeing your decorations and all your beautiful stitched pieces! My favorite vignette was that wooden box with the "Jingle all the way" pillow in it...just loved your combo there. Looks like you had a fun and busy holiday season with lots of family and friend time. The piece you stitched for the exchange was adorable...I had never seen that pattern. Happy stitching in the new year and wishing you the energy to get your guest room painted!
Christmas is mostly down except for the “winter stuff” I left up. Took me two days but I’m done! Now to buy paint tomorrow and hopefully painting on Friday.
Your tree is amazing! Just gorgeous! I remember Joan England Walsh and have cross stitched about six of her that I’m making into a quilted table topper! I love all your decorations and your table setting is beautiful. I don’t do fancy table settings any more, I’m too old now for fancy stuff but I do appreciate it! I have 16 family members for dinner and we do buffet style in my old farmhouse kitchen. Happy new year!
Buffet style is the way to go! That’s how I almost always serve. I just put the plates on the table because it looks so pretty that way. I have the people grab one before they go through the line. It’s really mostly about welcoming people into your home. I think that’s great.
Your tree and Christmas stitching are just gorgeous!! I loved seeing them! I didn’t put everything out this year because I’m having lung surgery on Friday. 😭 I enjoy your videos and seeing your beautiful stitching and finishing. ❤️ Barb
I put our Black Lab puppy into a large kennel in the kitchen, as took off to pick up my husband at the Airport from his business trip. We get home an hour later. I walk in from the garage & can see the kennel door is wide open!!! and then we heard him running thump thump thump down the stairs!!! He was called by his name Hooper & Houdini then Hooperdini at times! lol Nice Christmas displays, funny bloopers!
Hello, from Minnesota. I think you should paint first. When you need a break from painting, you can sit down by the light of the beautiful Christmas tree and take in the peace that passes all understanding.
I compromised. I took down Christmas over two days but left the garland with the lights and snowflakes and glass trees below. I think we’re picking out paint and then painting on Friday as I have fun things to do on Wednesday and Thursday. Hope you’re staying warm over there!

To have watched how they made their escape!
Love catching up with you❤
Thanks so much!
Another fun video! I had to laugh when you said you were embarrassed to admit graduating in 1976. I graduated that year as well 😂
Bicentennial year rocked! We definitely grew up in a sweet spot! Thanks for watching.

Great video! Happy New Year Barb!!
Happy New Year to you too!
Beautiful decorations not too much for my taste♥️🎄♥️
When someone new comes over at Christmas, sometimes I am a bit embarrassed by it but all returnees know what to expect. It’s fun!
Green Coat Santa is adorable °
I’m so glad I adopted him!
I changed phones and it unsubscribed me from all of my subscriptions.
I hate when that happens. Such a pain.
