Today’s video is a foundation roundup. I will review all foundations that I’ve tried recently and I will tell you which ones worked for me and I have one fail. Lately I’ve tried the new N 1 de Chanel foundation, the new reformulated Dior Forever Matte foundation, the iconic Cle de Peau Radiant fluid matte foundation and Dolce & Gabbana Millennial skin Tinted moisturizer. Hi Angela:) Just yesterday I was given a sample of Dior's foundation, but the . Forever Glow. In the coming days I'm going to try it on my combination skin (mature age). I'll give you the feedback then. In the last 2 months I've been using great (in my opinion) - "The radiant skintint SPF 30" by La Mer, I'm delighted!❤

I agree on everything you said about the Cle' de Peau radiant matte foundation. I too have combo skin but I am in my late 40s and it looks great on my fine lines and slightly enlarged pores. Worth every penny.

Hello Angela ! Love the same foundations as you ! Recently I tried also the new Dior Capture Totale Super potent Serum foundation and I love it so much . It has skincare ingredients in it as well . I don’t like the new Dior Forever foundation because of the finish and it oxidized on me too . I’ve tried a sample and didn’t buy it . Thank you for this review! Have a good weekend! 🌸

Angela, I have tried the Chanel No 1 and love it! I have combo skin and was worried it might be too oily for me but it is not. I have not tried the Dior or G&B foundation and won’t due to your reviews. Thank you for the reviews on all the foundations. 😊❤️

Hi Angela, I have the new No1 Chanel foundation & love the way it makes my skin look so flawless. But I don’t think it’s as long wearing as some of my foundations. I have combination skin also & needed to reapply it to my nose after a couple of hours. It is summer here so it might wear better in winter. Thank you 😊

I’ve always found the Dior foundations too dry for my skin. I’ve recently bought the Forever Glow online and but I haven’t still received it. Wishing well 🤞🏻by the way, I totally agree with you on Chanel n 1. It’s GORGEOUS!!
Hello from Cartagena. I never had good luck with Dior foundations. My most favorite foundation for years now has been Cle de Peau. Got the new one in the glow version and love it. If I want my complexion to look fabulous that is the one I grab. Other than that love all Chanel foundations. XO.
I think my favorite would have to be the Cle de Peau for all the reasons you mentioned. My next pick would be Chanel No. 1. My skin is normal to slightly dry. I didn’t buy the Dior because of all of the negative reviews. Plus, historically I have never gotten on with Dior foundations. Thank you for another amazing review.
Yes! The only one I have of out of these is the Cle de Peau Matte Radiant and it is indeed my favorite formula. I am always shocked how good my skin looks half way through the day, even outside! I have oily skin with large pores in the center of face, plus I get flakiness from retinoids sometimes, and then I have to skip all liquid products altogether. It does oxidize just a tad on me (all foundations do) and I have two shades that I have to mix because none of their shades match me. Nevertheless, I think it’s worth it because it’s the only foundation that makes my skin look good all day. I’m 39 and been a makeup junkie for 25 years and this is the best foundation I’ve found that provides very good coverage, blurring and perfecting that also looks natural.
Hi Angela, I did try the Sisley Phyto Teint Ultra and my dry skin did not get along with it. At application all is ok but since it sets like a powder after 4 hours I feel my skin tight and uncomfortable.
The Clé de Peau Radiant Fluid Foundation Natural in BF10 it is working beautifully on my dry skin, pores and fine lines. It looks even better as it wears during the day. Love it!!!

I think the marketing was confusing. It marketed for” young” people and I can’t say I’m young like you ! But I’m goi g to try it . Hello Deborah :) and welcome to my channel! Thank you so much for watching my videos and for subscribing! It means so much to me! ❤️ Chanel N 1 is good mostly for dry skin. I think that with foundations it's more important what skin type you have. I notice that as I reached my mid 30s my skin started to change (it's not as shiny anymore and it needs more hydration). That's why I think N 1 de Chanel works well for me. Overall I think that Chanel is the brand that has some of the best foundations. A lot of people have been commenting that they love the new N 1 de Chanel. If you like glowy finish I think you will like it :) xoxo

I currently wear and love the Cle de Peau Radiant Matte foundation! I too have combination skin! The only negative, it is not at all travel friendly!! I am disappointed that the Dolce & Gabbana didn't work out as I have a few trips coming up this year and would like to find something easy and wearable to pack!! I went on a cruise in December and took my NARS Skin Tint with me, and while I love it, it does need to be powdered which isn't always convenient when traveling. I also took my Chanel Aqua Vitalumiere, but as soon as my face got any color (I do use sunscreen and a hat), the color was all wrong!!

i didn’t try this dior foundation bc a lot of negative reviews so i’m happy that you can return but their new glow cushion is really nice. i purchased it bc the case is so beautiful didn’t expect it to be good lol but it is. it’s not cakey at all, so comfortable on my skin and kind of last all day. 🥺

Do you think the Cle de Peau is similar to the Armani luminous silk? I don’t like the Armani colors but it’s not so glowy on me! I hate these new shiny foundations and I’m 56 lololololol I’m interested in the Chanel but it’s looks shiny too 🤨😩
Hi Angela, I agree with you that a foundation product should perform really well. I am a Chanel lover and am interested in the No;1, however, the price is ridiculous. I’m not sure that it would perform different;y than Vita Aqua Lumiere to warrant the almost double price.
Hello :) If you already have Vitalumiere Aqua then you can skip the N 1 de Chanel. The new N 1 de Chanel is more glowy than Vitalumiere aqua. That's the main difference. Vitalumiere Aqua has more like a 'second skin' finish whereas N 1 is more dewy which can be a problem if you have combo or oily skin. xoxo
Do you think CDP will make dry skin look bad? I bought Chanel, I have dry skin and it is wonderful. It irritated me a bit, as it is perfumed, but it was only the first time. B10 is neutral/cool, fair-light skin.
Hello Alexandra :) CDP radiant matte is best for combo, oily skin. I know it works for dry skin as well but you will have to moisturize your skin very well before using it. If you have normal to dry skin it will be fine. But if you are very dry and sensitive I would skip it. I know CDP have a glowy version of the same foundation and I think it might be better suited for dry skin but I haven't tried it. xoxo
Does it give you pores? Does it clog pores? Is it oilfree im asking about all the foundations you reviewed
I’m a normal to combination skin with some dry spots, especially on the cheeks.
Chanel no 1 works beautifully for me. I like the texture and moisture the foundation offers.
If you like makeup no makeup look. I think it’s the right choice to go.
Givenchy matissime velvet is also the best one for my skin type and if you are looking for the glass skin makeup.
The texture is very smooth like silk and forms like a second skin. It can hold up around 8h before my skin starts to shy.
But no beak up, no traces left on the skin. If you touch up with powder at the middle of the day, I believe it can last longer.
I’m interested in the CDP. Could you please share where you purchase it from and how to choose the right colors. I never have foundation from this brand. So no clue at all. I’m wearing MAC NC 20. Lancôme teint idole 025. Chanel no 1 BD21 for reference.

That's where I buy Cle de Peau. About the shades: In Cle de Peau foundations the shades that start with B have cool undertone; the shades that start with O have neutral undertones and the shades that start with BF have warm undertones. Looking at the shade range of Cle de Peau I think that O20 will work well on your skin tone. I hope this helps. xoxo
Was the Givenchy shiny? I am looking for a new foundation but everything is so shiny!! I don’t have oily skin but I use AHAs so my skin has a natural shine without any makeup on. Thanks for any information! Also did it oxidize?

I’ve been loving the new Chanel foundation so much! Was thinking about also purchasing the healthy glow foundation which do you prefer out of the two? Are they both worth having?
Hello :) If you already have the N 1 de Chanel you don't need the Les beiges healthy glow foundation. The main difference between these two is that Les Beiges is water based foundation and it's suitable for all skin types (including oily); N 1 de Chanel has more moisturizing ingredients and I would say that it's best for people who have normal to dry or dehydrated skin. In terms of finish: N 1 de Chanel looks more glowy and Les Beiges looks more natural (like skin). It is not as glowy as N 1.
I have the Les Beiges foundation and am thinking of purchasing the No.1 as well. Just couldn't resist 😅

Forgive the repetition, but I enjoy the Cle de Peau natural foundation and, less so, the matte foundation, both in O20. Neither oxidize on me, but I felt the matte was a little heavier, or thicker, on me. However, based on information from another UA-cam creator, I mixed the two and the results are lovely. No heaviness, no settling, and prettier as the day goes on. I have combination skin in colder months, oily skin in the hotter months. I’ve no idea how it will work in the depths of summer, but for at least three seasons out of the year, Cle de Peau is wonderful. The Chanel No. 1 interested me, but I doubt it would work given how oily I can get. I do enjoy the Chanel Les Beiges Water Fresh Tint foundation, which is light and pleasant, but because it simply color corrects on me, will limit it to day use in the hotter months. As for Dior foundations, I’ve been unable to find one that does not oxidize on me for a very long time and now avoid them. Dior used to have gorgeous Dior Forever foundation in the past. But once the reformulations started I haven't been able to enjoy it. Sadly, the reformulations were not successful in my opinion. I am still pining for the Clé de Peau.
I have heard that it takes only a small amount so the price point makes a bit more sense. One day I will see for myself the wonders of Clé de Peau Radiant Matte.
I think many UA-camrs applying way too much product. *especially concealer
With regular consumers I imagine we use a lighter hand because we pay for it ourselves. I like that you purchase your own, and debate over purchasing.
I know you have sensitive eyes and wonder if the Clé de Peau has anything in it that bothers your eyes. (?)
Btw, is that the Chanel pale blush from this Spring collection on your cheeks? If so, I adore the way it looks. Being fair skinned it looks like the perfect shade.

U only tried the matte 1 from Dior u said but really u dnt need2 try the skin glow 1 bc i can tell u its not good its performance was equal 2 a drugstore foundation i used 2 wear ,it was very smart not 2 buy it if u cant return it bc thats wat i did & i wore it 1 time & its sitting in my makeup droor going unused & i guess 4 me its an expensive loss😞,if any1 wants it they can have mine ,my shade was 2w ,it matched me wel but im really convinced it contains poor quality ingredients bc if it was really a high-end foundation & was just not right 4 my dry skin type then it shouldv just looked alittle dry on me like alot of high-end foundations ive tried not particularly geerd 4 dry skin,but like i said thats not wat happened it actually got completely sucked up by my skin & simultaneously deplumped it, that's drugstore foundation performance so i dnt believe the ingredients in this particular "high-end" foundation r expensive quality ingredients,i think its cheaply made just like most drugstore foundations & the only people it may work 4 r 20 yr olds with perfect skin on the oily side ,but i really wouldnt recommend it2 any1 bc u dnt need 2 pay $53 2 get a foundation that performs like this 1,u can get something equal 2 this at any drugstore 4 around $10 or $15 dollars..if ur gonna charge us premium prices we need premium products period
Clea de peak loved until the sunscreen caused a rash. Sunscreen shouldn’t be added to foundation. Period!
I got the Dior forever skin glow foundation bc the girl that worked at Sephora recommended it2 me wen I said I had dry skin,so she referred me2 the skin glow not the matte 1 & told me it would b extremely hydrating 4 my dry skin,well I'm not sure y she thought that bc it not only dried my skin out it also deplumped my skin & my skin literally sucked up the foundation,that's wen I kno a foundation is extremely dehydrating 4 the skin is wen my skin just sucks up a foundation & all the plumpness in my face as well,I do have dry skin but only an extremely poor quality foundation has that effect on my skin,only twice in my life has my skin gotn so dehydrated from a foundation that it actually sucks it up & deplumps my skin at the same time,1 was the Dior skin glow foundation & the other was a drugstore foundation,so very disappointed with Dior bc I paid $53,that's a high-end price in my opinion & it performed the same on me as a $10 drugstore foundation? This is my 1st purchase of Dior foundation & I would b extremely hesitant 2 purchase another,ther is no reason a high-end foundation should perform the same as a drugstore foundation unless it contains poor quality ingredients..I've heard good things about other products from Dior but no thanks il stick with Chanel,so far I love every Chanel foundation I've tried
