In today’s video I will review the new Cle de Peau Beaute Radiant Cushion Foundation Natural SPF 25 PA +++ This is not a first impression review. I have been wearing the new Cle de Peau Radiant Cusion foundation natural for three days before filming my review.
Cle de Peau Beaute advertise this foundation as : A mesh-type cushion foundation inspired by the radiance of a diamond instantly creates naturally glow finish with a delicate yet sophisticated sheen and supple feel. The new Cle de Peau Radiant Cusion foundation Natural is infused with the signature for Cle de Peau Beaute Skin-Empowering Skincare ingredient.
The new Cle de Peau cushion foundation is supposed to be a hybrid of makeup and skincare. This new cushion foundation has a thick consistency and feel quite moisturizing on the skin. Let me know if you have tried the new Cle de peau foundation? 😊

I believe cushion foundation is supposed to be wearing on top of your usual foundation and for a touch up during the day. Definitely with its smoothing primer. Thanks for sharing your beautiful collection with us yet again. 😘

Thank you...I bought it for this reason. I don't set "The Foundation" but thought this may add a bit of coverage & keep it from beginning too dewy as the day goes by. 😉
I have really dry skin, and this looks very nice on you. The foundations I have tried from Cle de Peau is The Foundation, HG! But way to,expensive, and unfortunately, ran out now. I can’t see myself repurchasing. I also have the newish Radiant foundation, which is ok on me, but don’t love it as much as The Foundation. I just purchased the Chantecaille cushion, and I’m enjoying this one, so far.

Thanks so much for this review. I love my Cle de Peau liquid foundations, but think I will skip this. It does look beautiful on you, but I have oily skin in the summer as well as a bit of texture around my nose. I have the new Sisley cushion foundation, which does have a blurring effect and does layer very well over a matte sunscreen, and am enjoying it very much. I doubt that, given my skin type, any cushion foundation will be flattering on me in hotter months,however. Thanks again for the review…I will stick with my Sisley for now.

This was very helpful. From the description it sounds a lot like Shade & Illuminate fdt from Tom Ford. I had a big tester and tried different ways of making it work, but it was glowy in a the way it showed any dryness and pore I had. When I think of beautiful gel foundation, I think of Chantecaille’s one in the jar. Do you have the cushion and what do you think of it? Also which is your favorite, light coverage, natural-looking cushion foundation?

Actually I haven't used cusion foundations in the past couple of years ( except the Dior Dreamskin spf 50 cushion. I love it and it has light coverage and glowy finish) Years ago I used to love the YSL Encre de Peau cushion but I don't know if it's the same or if it has been reformulated. xoxo
Happy Monday Angela. I love Cle de Peau foundations. BUT there is something about cushion foundations and me. I don’t like any. And I have all the brands Wasted money. So I will probably skip this one. I am loving the latest liquid one. 😘

How would you compare the CDP cushion and chanel’s gel touch cushion?

Usually gel foundations work well with water or gel sunscreens. Not with cream or essence ones that way be a bit oily. Powder also does
Not go well with gel foundations.
This foundation is good for long winter months where the cold will dry out the skin but there is not enough sunshine to need it to be spf.

As much as I want to love Shiseido makeup products including Cle de Peau, I am resolved that it’s just not made for western skin but rather east Asian skin. 😭I find their foundations work best on that skin type and here in Japan the aesthetic is no-makeup makeup so filtering/blurring makeup products just isn’t a thing or something the majority is interested in. 😅I’ve rather found Korean cushion foundations marketed for westerners more medium coverage with blurring effects but Japanese offerings in this category are sorely lacking. I know I sound harsh but I live in Tokyo and have noticed it’s a common complaint and observation among MUA and makeup enthusiasts that aren’t looking at Japan with those rose-colored-I-love-anime-n-videogames lenses- Japanese makeup products are lovely but really not made with a global/international market in mind 🤷♀️😓
MS, what brand did you find that seems to also target the western market? I’d love to check them out.
@@MrsPro3000 Sure! I’ve had really good experience with the Korean cushion foundation brands Clio kill cover series, Klavuu, and Morning Surprise. All of which have medium coverage, blurring or perfecting effects added in and I think Klavuu may have some skincare in it too. I reach for these in summer time rather than my normal foundations since they are med coverage but lightweight! (I’ve got combo skin) hope this helps! 💖🌟🙏
