I got a backhoe with my 1025r also. It’s been great for digging. Theres always a digging job around the corner and great about owning the backhoe I could use it whenever I want. Backhoe does great as rear ballast for loader work, does better than ballast box I got. Don’t even use the ballast box it’s only used now storing chains in the shed.
Sorry it took me so long to reply, but thank you so much! I agree with you, I was just mowing my yard today with the backhoe and the loader on the tractor and it is perfectly balanced. Thanks so much for purchasing the Deere!
Again, thanks! Where about are you located? If you're not too far away, i would consider purchasing any future implements from your place of business. (Im in western Wisconsin)
That is an option. What I love about the 1025R is I can also mow, till, brush cut, carry loads, go across my grass, landscape, clear snow, plant and pretty much 95% of the tasks I want to get done, and all with one machine. When I run into something that is too big for my tractor, or I will not get the payback by using a piece of equipment over time, I will rent that equipment. Thanks for replying!
Thanks for the input. I have considered putting it on, especially if I am going to be working along a pond or a stream where I have to reach to pull something out.

We are in Northern Indiana. Your local dealer can give you a good deal on the tractor.
Tractor implements!
@@AmericanStorm55 yep, have a 1025R with FEL and 60" deck. I bought a Woods land plane which I love, but am plotting my next implement... 😂
For the price of a backhoe now days I’d probably give one of those 1.2T Chinese excavators a try.

funny how some of you other guys like watching what you dream of, then the only thing in your mind is to say something negative.
