JD was a marine that was assigned with journalists for 6mo in Iraq, never saw active combat. I don't know. Pretty weird flex to attack Walz on military record. He was a teacher at heart and after 9/11 was training NATO forces in Italy until he decided to run for Congress and put in papers to retire. Correlation not equal to causation. He did have to undergo surgery for double tinnitus or be forced to retire on disability iirc. He took the surgery but was still already in motion to retire and move on to advocating for veterans in congress. His congressional record shows that he was quite successful in getting resources to veterans and eventually was the chair of the veterans committee. I think its in our best interest as a society to not attack people's military records, but if you start you need to look both ways.

JD was a marine that was assigned with journalists for 6mo in Iraq, never saw active combat. I don't know. Pretty weird flex to attack Walz on military record. He was a teacher at heart and after 9/11 was training NATO forces in Italy until he decided to run for Congress and put in papers to retire.
Correlation not equal to causation. He did have to undergo surgery for double tinnitus or be forced to retire on disability iirc. He took the surgery but was still already in motion to retire and move on to advocating for veterans in congress. His congressional record shows that he was quite successful in getting resources to veterans and eventually was the chair of the veterans committee.
I think its in our best interest as a society to not attack people's military records, but if you start you need to look both ways.

Walz was deployed overseas twice in his 24 years of service. He was stationed at the Arctic Circle. He was also sent to Europe post 9/11 in Support of Operation Enduring Freedom for six months. So where is his stolen valor?
