I love such pencil making videos. Thus We saw in this video that Japanese Pencil companies better than German pencil makers. All in house. Congratulations. Hoping to see pilot pen , uniball Mitsubishi and Sakura gel pen making vidoes here. Very nice 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👌
How did we see that? This video showcases a single japanese production of pencil lead. Where is the fundamental proof of your claim here?
錒
I think you have that backwards. The company shown makes ONLY the "lead" for the pencil. Staedtler, the German manufacturer, make the whole pencil in house, including making and painting the wooden bodies. ua-cam.com/video/tX7Eq-oU65Ah/v-deo.htmlttps://ua-cam.com/video/tX7Eq-oU65A/v-deo.html

Interesting and informative video thank you
2:36 moment of adding water with an ordinary watering can for the garden is very funny like such a large production and then the usual watering can
😅👌
The first company I see where people wear proper respirators when dealing with dusts and powders.
that's because this is Japan where people are educated and conscientious
Love how much work goes into the making of the lead itself. Also love how they then magically just.....appear inside the pencils. Always expected they used magic to get it in the middle, glad to see I was right.
Gosh I never knew making pencil lead was such a labour intensive process. I'll never take pencils for granted again. Great vid thankyou.
Thank you for your time and effort, very very interesting process, Nice to see a very modern stream lined factory, I hope all of your viewers whom normally comment about PPE will be pleased to see everyone wearing modern PPE, Thank you again I always look forward to your documentary,
what a good pencil

It amazes me to see how many things are still made by factory workers in Japan! There is still a lot of skill there!
Lindo, o processo de fabricação .
Parabéns!
I love you can see them doing pointing and calling when they do any kind of critical step. The guy doing a lift overhead with the crane does it, they guy starting the drying process does it, and then when they're lighting the kiln, they do a very thorough pointing-and-calling sequence.
The same process is used by train drivers and conductors to make sure tracks and doors are clear and the signals are all as they should be.
It's something that's done in my warehouse. We've found it drastically reduces accidents because it helps ensure that proper safety processes are followed. It's a very simple idea, and when done right it doesn't' add much time at all (and compared to a safety incident it's a LOT faster).
Vos vidéos sont toujours très intéressantes, merci!
I didn't know there was so much going on behind making these lead pencils! So interesting.
The multi-colored lead is awesome.
Very clean and efficient. 🙂
Hi! How are you?
Again, it's a new week. I wish you good health and good things this week as well.
Thank you very much.
Thank you for the English subtitles!
That is a complicated process, great to see how pencil lead is made.
This was such an interesting video! I never knew leads were so soft and flexible.
They are only flexible until dried and fired.
i love how they made the cutting machine, two-switch for both hands. For safety, of course, the person need to put both hands away from the table. ingenious
And the pointing and calling (and the signs telling them to). It's a staple of Japanese worker safety (you'll see train drivers do the same).
Fascinating! I always wondered how snow globes were made!
wow! didn't knew that a brittle lead had a stage where it was smooth like a noodle!
yes. in professional terms its called a "black spagett".
As they wind then cut the extrusion, all I can think:
“Forbidden Spaghetti!!!” 😮✨
Thank you for this, and thanks to the people who do this wonderful (and at times dangerous-looking) work! As someone who loves and has bought Japanese pencils, I really appreciate you!
I had a smiliar thought when they put the colored leads into a box and poured white powder on them... "Forbidden Candy Sticks"
Brilliant video, thank you ! 👍
Wonderful colored pencil!
I used to draw with pencils years ago, then I bought a Wacom and never came back to traditional drawing, but after watching this video, I want to draw with pencils again.
Beautiful craft. One of humanity’s best inventions. A pencil ❤
So relaxing to watch. I love this !
My best friend, Thank you for your hard work in making the video. I enjoyed the good video. Have a happy day.
Japan does everything with precision, even making humble pencil leads.
🎉Me encantó ese proceso... Gracias
Those colored pencil leads were a wonderful surprise in that dusty grey factory.

Thank-you for sharing. Super Awesome video.

That is already a lot of pencil lead in that short time. interesting video
Muy interesante gracias

Nhà máy sản xuất bút chì của Nhật rất tuyệt vời. Họ rất chăm chỉ trong công việc 🇯🇵👍.

2B or not 2B, that is the question.
Hahaha :) A very leading question....
Good one!🤣👍
I've never seen a pencil with 5 colors at once 😯
Really nice to see this video and incredible, through this video I understood and saw how pencils are made, I benefited a lot from watching this video 👍👌❤️From 🇧🇩
This is so fascinating :)
State of the art process and jig design, remind me to use pencil again.
I once use it as a standard tool to check surface hardness
People still use it to check handset protection film
hardness(9H? quite unbelievable)
Amazing!
😯Definitely one of the cooler videos!
感謝! by illustrator.
I need a rainbow pencil now😲🤗. I'll go over to your link of how it gets into the actual wood casing . Fascinating 👌😊👏
Thank goodness it's not actually lead - how heavy those pallets would be!
Who knew so many steps were involved? Some minor quibbles with this otherwise interesting video. It would have been good to know what the raw materials were that went into the first bin. Also, the editing continuity could have been better. One of the early steps was putting the raw material mixture through rollers, which created flat, irregular shapes. The next step showed the materials in a powder mixture. How did it turn into a powder? Last, a few more details about why certain steps, such as dipping the leads into hot oil, are necessary would have been helpful to our understanding.
One of the best videos I've have ever seen in all my life 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Estou encantada com tudo issoooo
Que beleza!!!!
Highly unoptimalised process. But very enjoyable to watch. 👌
man... this video was absolutely delicious.
The blurring of trade names: It is interesting to see how certain component manufactures trade names are blurred out (likely to conceal trade secrets) as opposed to manufactures in the US displaying component manufactures' trade emblems for publicity purposes. I guess it has to do with the fact that this factory is unique and wants to stay that way...
1000C !!! Wow! That's hot. Almost melts steel.
Maravilha você ver a finalização do produto...
Wish you would have shown how to make the color lead.
It looks kind of delicious after the extrusion :)
amazing
