Here is my tip: Key Remapping on Runelight allows you to assign other keys to the F key functions. I use WASD for swapping between the prayer tab, inventory tab, special attack tab and magic tab. It is SUPER helpful for demonic gorillas and several medium-high level monsters/bosses. I'd imagine it would be fantastic for LMS or PvP as well. I can't get used to using the actual F keys at the top of my keyboard so this feature has been a game changer for me. RSN: T0e Knee

As defender in barbarian assault: You can drop any food and it will attract the runners. You dont lose points for bad food. Use wrong food to train them all to the trap and drop the correct food by the trap to kill them. The food counts from the moment you drop it. So if you drop the correct food. And the food changes. The stuff on the floor still counts as correct. RSN: K Vee
Seed box isnt useless for mains. Best 2 uses are for passive slayer to pick up seed drops, and pickpocketing master farmers to conserve inventory space and not have to drop as much.

17:10 My Tip: The Blast Furnace isn't only for fast and costly training. You can actually make money by smithing Mithril, Adamant, or Rune Bars, as the furnace only requires half of the coal cost. Make sure to have a coal bag, which you can get from Motherlode Mine for higher XP and profit.
Expanding on this: - if you want max xp at the cost of money: smelt gold - if you want max money at the cost of xp: smelt the highest you can out of mith/addy/rune - if both money and xp are relevant to you: smelt gold but use 1 inv slot for the coal bag and dump the coal in there as well, then whenever the furnace is full of coal, switch to 1 inv of mith/addy/rune. That way you make optimal use of the efficiency of the coal bag even while getting good exp from gold-smelting. This makes it FAR more efficient than either of the above options. I did 60-95 smithing in 1 week with this method and made about 18m profit.
The right click option to attack isn't useless in some situations. It's good for skilling so you don't accidentally attack monsters, and good for when you need to run under a boss to eat or avoid it's attacks. It's also good at Scorpia so you don't accidentally click the tiny scorpions when trying to move.
One other tip I would like to put out there is a runelite plug in that is called Lootbag Utilities and it will remove the option to destroy any of your rune pouches, herb sacks, ect.
Honestly such an amazing video for new players! Although I personally knew all of this because I'm an addict, I know a lot of people I will be recommending this video to! Definitely do more videos like this in the future!

If you have a bit of cash, getting a saradomin godsword for slayer saves a ton on food and speeds up kills. It gives back hp and prayer when you hit and the prayer restore offsets the drain from having the preserve prayer on, so your stats stay boosted for longer. RSN: Bone X Baron
I love calling the Farming Guild slayer for farming. So true. I use Farming cape teleport to do contracts, bank and take Spirit Tree to my house. Easy money from seeds, banking and teleports (house).
Quality of Life Tip: theres an option in runelite that lets u type your bank pin if you have one, this also helps streamers since you are not clicking for the pin
Here is one tip. Bring at least 15 watermelons for every farm place that have a compost bin, drop a little off from the bin path most people take, take buckets, fill them, take it back for the gnome, then collect the watermelons and fill the compost bin. If you drop in the middle some dude can stole from you. This is especially faster for mobile players with tap to drop button. Recently im putting watermelons in one trip and tak8ng off from the next one. Composting is very slow, but ultracompost gives 10k in a small bin and 20k on the big bin. Bring volcanic ashes to make ultracompost from the bin.
Imo tip 88 is the wrong way to do it. Keeping the tinder box unf the middle of your inventory is fine but click tinder box then log then log then tinder box. In that order it makes it where your mouse movements are more efficient.

Literally already making MASSIVE use of that runelite bank tag-tab feature. I set up ones for my basic combat style equipment, which is a lot faster than using bank tabs as the same item can be in multiple ones like my fury/barrows gloves. set up one for zulrah, which makes rebanking a breeze, and now using a tiny one just for prayer training. AMAZING. INCREDIBLE. WILL NEVER NOT USE RUNELITE AGAIN.
I slept on quest helper for so long and started using it in the last 3 days and I’ve done 52 quests and I’m genuinely enjoying it. Quest cape here I come 😂
#1 tip is the same as your last tip: don't take it too seriously. Everything you covered in this video was what most of us learned over 15 years of playing this game. It takes time, but even then, it's still just a game. Don't burn yourself out, kids
Here's a simple tip: If you want to make a moneymaking alt, consider how much you actively play and look into the afk moneymakers you're going to do first before you give it membership. For example, if you're playing 6 hours every day (one lockout each), 100k/h translates to roughly 8 mil (allowing for mistakes and GE use/trading), and most of that will be eaten up by a bond, so you'd really want to be making 120-150k/h over whatever F2P method is appropriate for said alt before giving it membership, if the skills are applicable. There are plenty of 100k/h methods in f2p that will be perfectly fine till you reach whatever breakpoint level you want your alt to afk on (Crafting and Cooking come to mind as great training options). And while there are plenty of zero-level zero-exp options out there as well that work just as well in f2p as they do in members, those often tank pretty quickly due to being niche or click intensive. When in doubt, test it on your main first if you want to be absolutely sure they're stable.
If I'm understanding correctly, the spicy stews tip is awesome but your example for the 91 Runecrafting boost comes with caveats, since the diary task requires making 58 Nature runes at once, which would require having a full inventory of essence. The timing of stewing up at a bank then getting to the nature altar before losing the level boost is pretty tight, at least if you're boosting the full 5 levels
another fire tip. the lumbridge castle dining room has a fire you can use early on to cook rat meat or cow meat :) no quest needed. i might use this for my new alt that is questless.

Here's my tip. You can do volume flips with not much money to start like 200k you put orders in and go grind and stuff and when you come back collect sell for profit and continue with your day. I've made almost 2m in the past few days just from that not including anything else I'm doing. Thinking of doing a vid on it!

I'd really like to see an Item bible for people that return from breaks or even newer players. what the Items are, what they do, and where/how to get them. Teleports/books/how to get an item; why it's useful. ex. kinda like a cliff notes for wiki. but more of a reminder that you have these items in your bank. Just a thought! It would be nice just to go to a video to remember what all these useful items did.
80 blast furnace also is one of the best money makers. even if u dont have good gear that reduces weight. it still is a must have. also get agility leveled to like 20-30 as quick as u can. it speeds up run energy quickly. and over time it saves lots of time. also get ardy cape as its one of the BEST teleports ever ingame. free endless teleports to ardougne. is such a win and it teleports you to an altar. fairy ring. and spirit tree... like thats half the game transports u ever need. and the altar there is my most used altar.
I started RS in 2005. I played on and off since then. Before RS3 I had 4 accounts under 90 combat. On osrs. I made my first account last year. I just made a 1 defense pure as that was my goal back in the day. I completed desert treasure at 50 combat which I was proud of. Being that I always been a PKer...how can I go about enjoying the game as a main or making myself play the game entirely? There's so much on this list I feel I'm missing and just keeping what I tried back in the day.

I cannot install other plugins that is not already on the list, my runelite crashes and i have to delete the cashe and reinstall runelite to make it work normally again, i would love to use the hd plugin...
Depends on the context, if the target has little to no defence against your attack style, then strength plays a bigger part. For best XP it's generally good to do strength until you hit the next max hit and then attack until the next equipment upgrade, then repeat.
Just started playing again after stopping for a long time and then I came back playing RS3 but with all the mtx and money hungry stuff along with me missing osrs combat and looking at pvm and wanting to get into osrs pvm so badly I swapped back to osrs. Now I have to relearn everything over again pretty much since rs3 is so damn different it ruined my game knowledge.
This may be shocking.. but regular gauntlet is actually pretty easy on mobile. Cg takes a bit of skill, but the normal can be done consistently. Rsn lio n

The prayer that helps stats remain boosted for 2x longer is helpful for any stewing boost activity imo

I used tile markers to store some numbers for some ducked up doujin in the slayer cave by the fire giants.

Is it almost easier just to do lunar diplomacy for NPC contact? I’m close to reqs for lunar but nowhere close to the gloves
@@anthonyc7418 Sure, but you might want to alch during slayer/burst tasks/use thralls, and switching prayers gets annoying, karamja gloves work with all spell books.

Why do people say that strength is more important than accuracy? Isn't it better to hit two 25s instead of a 30 and a 0?
Depends on the context, if the target has little to no defence against your attack style, then strength plays a bigger part. For best XP it's generally good to do strength until you hit the next max hit and then attack until the next equipment upgrade, then repeat.

Just started playing again after stopping for a long time and then I came back playing RS3 but with all the mtx and money hungry stuff along with me missing osrs combat and looking at pvm and wanting to get into osrs pvm so badly I swapped back to osrs. Now I have to relearn everything over again pretty much since rs3 is so damn different it ruined my game knowledge.

This may be shocking.. but regular gauntlet is actually pretty easy on mobile. Cg takes a bit of skill, but the normal can be done consistently.
