This really helped me understand than the other videos with the digital piano thing. With all the colors of the keys really confuse me but this made me really understand, thank you!!
@@mrzsmusiclessons Thank you Mr. Zs...you.re an amazing piano teacher...very calm..very Professional..and this is the way...teaching like you..Please keep on teaching us......
There need to be more piano tutorials like this. People need to know that a "tutorial" isn't just a digital piano with notes descending down on it. It means an actual human breaking it down, and that's what you do so well
This is my first piano lesson. Seemed fitting to learn piano during this pandemic. Thank you for making this song accessible for new players. Best of luck in your future endeavours
You're the best! This was the most clear, concise and easy intro to this song. I got more out of 15 minutes with you than the hours I wasted trying to learn from the others.
NO, I thank you. And while we're at it, why not cover Hardest part piano the studio version? Scientist my top band of all time. So nice to have more scientist teachers.
Hi, thanks for the great tutorial! I really appreciate the effort you put into making it-it’s clear you’ve put a lot of thought into simplifying it for beginners. I'm currently learning “The Scientist” on piano and wanted to share a few observations that might be helpful: In several places, mainly in the verses, there’s a C-major chord at the end of the Fsus2 bar, just before returning to the Dm. The official sheet music on Ultimate Guitar includes this in bars 16, 20, 24, 28, 42, and 50. For the Bb chord parts, playing F-C-C (octave) at the end, accents it nicely, making it sound like a Bbadd9. If you want to play along with the recording, tune your keyboard to 448Hz for perfect pitch. I really enjoyed your tutorial and watched it all the way through. Thanks again for your hard work and dedication!
Thank you so much for doing this!!! I like how you actually delivered the actual thing unlike the other people who are just trying to make it easier...this has really helped!! CHEERS!
Thank you so much! This really helped a begginner like me. While other videos use some kind of animation that really confuse me, you show how it's done with your own hands. Really appreciate it!
I started to learn playing keyboard because I was at home all the time due to pandemic. This is the first song that I wanted to learn and this video helped me a lot, thank you Mr. Z. Regards from Indonesia ☺
He is a very very good teacher cause he does NOT rush the first part including counts which is very important as the intro! I can master this song cause he explains EACH measure so well making it ALL SIMPLE to understand!!! Loved it ❤️!!!
@@mrzsmusiclessons sure ! Same to you! Hope you stay with it brother 🙏! No one ever did " impossible Dream by Tom Jones! His best can be found on UA-cam : his KARAOKE version is very good!! Hope you can pick it out on one of your lessons for us!
This is such a great tutorial thank you! My only request would be to count us in when you are playing both hands together to make it easier to play along in sync and maybe a full play through at the end. THANKS AGAIN! Subscribed
I just want to thank you. I've been learning the piano since about a month now, and I think this video really helped me a lot. You learn best with songs you like and it makes me so happy that I'm able to play this song now, because of your video and a whole bunch of practice XD Keep up the good work, I'm sure this will help many other people, too!
Nice ! He names EACH chord or keynote by letters 🔤🔠 ! This really helps as he does NOT rush this lesson! Good chart above to follow well done with counts! Loved it ALL! Followed up with a second part!! Hope he does more pop songs! Enjoyed! Good teacher here!! 🔥♾️♾️🔥
I used to play piano when I was younger and gave it up but have decided to try and pick it up as an adult...this tutorial is great to ease me back into it. I just need to get my brain to play two different tempos!
Mr Zs...thank you very much...you really explain this piano song..scientist..with the seventh Re minor seventh..which is essencial..You were born to teach..you.re a calm and professional teacher!!!!!!!!!
He does NOT miss anything.. and at this SlOW pace I am a dummy winner 🏆⚡🏆⚡! His letter chart and when naming EACH chord or keynote is really helpful with counting out loud 🔊📢 ... Hope he does more pop songs! Too many Beatles songs already!!
Can someone please tell me how many times you need to repeat each of these sections (and in what order) to complete the song? Intro x2, Verse 1 repeat x4, Chorus x1, Verse 2 x4 (and then I get lost)
I need to know asap, what would be the best keyboard for 'The Scientist' by Coldplay under 300 dollars? I really want to be accurate with this song. Thanks!
I hoped that you would mention the inversions in the chords, because I got confused when you said it's just a normal F chord and you played it's second inversion.
Does anyone know any tricks for getting your left hand to play 8th notes while your right is playing quarter notes? Im learning and my brain wants to play all 8ths or all quarter... sigh.
So i just wanted to make sure so the left hand is just single notes not octaves or anything like that? My left hand has a issue so im only able to really play single notes on the left my right hand plays fine for chords
The F chord that is used in this song (C-F-A) is known as the second inversion of the regular F chord (the F-A-C that you are familiar with). All chords have two such inversions - in this case, they are A-C-F and C-F-A.
Mr. Z's Music Lessons, for me yes. It’s not your fault it’s my fault because I don’t know the notes I just watch what you play and copy that and I spent awhile and I was confused and I just gave up.

those ones are for experienced pianists who know the notes and where they are that's why I prefer those

Still remembers this good tutorial
Yours is one of the only YTs that correctly play the Dm7 (i.e. with the C). Most others use a basic D minor chord. Thanks!

Can someone please tell me how many times you need to repeat each of these sections (and in what order) to complete the song? Intro x2, Verse 1 repeat x4, Chorus x1, Verse 2 x4 (and then I get lost)
i recomend you only watch the chorus and verse part leave the interlude and outro cuz its really confusing bcuz he has extended the interlude part
Really like your style of teaching and the clear LH RH notes. You are the best I’ve come across! :)
Hi! Thanks for such a lovely tutorial!
Could you pls tell me what is the order in which the parts are to be played?
Hello ! Thanks a lot for that lessons ! But can you please tell me the order of the part especially for interlude 1 and 2 !? Thanks a lot
Brilliant !
14:00 Intro : Left
3:18 3:26 3:27
is there a music sheet to this?
Yes just look for it on google
Full demo please
Hi, I was wondering if the corinne bailey the scientist is played differently on piano than cold plays version?
This was amazing help Thankyou!!
I need to know asap, what would be the best keyboard for 'The Scientist' by Coldplay under 300 dollars? I really want to be accurate with this song. Thanks!
when do i play the interlude 1 and 2?

Good video))) I play it)))
Does anyone know any tricks for getting your left hand to play 8th notes while your right is playing quarter notes? Im learning and my brain wants to play all 8ths or all quarter... sigh.
I would start with a slow tempo and pick a specific spot to repeat until you get it down.
So i just wanted to make sure so the left hand is just single notes not octaves or anything like that? My left hand has a issue so im only able to really play single notes on the left my right hand plays fine for chords
Pls can someone explain why F on the RH is different? Isnt it supposed to be F-A-C(nxt octave)??
The F chord that is used in this song (C-F-A) is known as the second inversion of the regular F chord (the F-A-C that you are familiar with). All chords have two such inversions - in this case, they are A-C-F and C-F-A.
Please make toturial for "Rise"
But Voice Avenue Version please
ok but how whole thing should be play, can someone write below the parts?
intro, chorus, interlude1, interlude2, outro?
or diffrent combination
that helped:) thanks a lot
You could play whole song at the end.
Where were you when I needed you? Still, THINK YOU!

Fue difícil pero me ayudó y me costó doble por q no hablo inglés XD pero el lenguaje de la música si lo hablo :D
If you haven't played this before there's a much easier version.
8:11 That's not true, it's The Scientist.
Why can't I hear this ?
Wow, great video yet again. I followed the tutorial. Check out my channel To see me playing it!
you have extended the interlude , it doesent match with the original song
I wish you will stick with Christian music…
I’ve don’t tutorials for 3 non-Christian songs I think. The rest are all Christian.
very nice advertising twice as loud in evenry few minutes :/
That was not fun to learn
