First of all, thanks for your videos. I am pleasantly making my way through them ! Quick question... I love voice-over, but I also love copywriting....should I pursue the two roles separately ( to avoid confusion ) or both together on websites, social media, etc. Your thoughts are appreciated...
Hi @jasm6654, I would pursue both, but I would market separately (kind of). For example, one video that you post might focus on your voice-over skills, and you can mention you also offer copywriting services. Then I'd have other marketing (videos/posts) that feature and spotlight your copywriting skills, and then you can mention you offer other services like a voice-over. Each marketing piece should focus on only one "house specialty." There may be other things on the menu, but marketing features something specific. You can get some good recordings with the Rode Podmic. I believe it's a good choice for beginning voice-over. You may want a better-quality microphone if you begin competing on a larger scale.
