What is the Optimum Retraction Distance while 3D Printing?

- Retraction distance helps provide high quality prints, avoid stringing and filament cross contamination. But what retraction distance is best? We do a small simple experiment to find out.
What's the name of the guy right there? How about the little blob guy?
Anyway, thanks for posting this video. I can now proceed to try 2mm distance if it will make any improvements on my printing. Currently I'm using 0.4mm nozzle as the default that comes with my Ender 3 V3 SE. I'm super curious to test this now. Again, thank you for your evaluation and testing video.
which Sovol printer is that?
It's the SV04. Pretty good printer. A little finicky at times, but overall very happy to have it in addition to my Ender
