Can you help me convert a picture to stl
Thank you
i have stls enabled from edit option and it wont let me open anything from my device downloads or anything what should i do
my stl is greyed out or atleast the one i want to open
So I am having a problem once I move the file from inkscape to tinkercad. Once I convert the shaded version of the pic to svg and move it into Tinkercad. I get an error that the file wasn't an svg?
Would the ender 3 v3 ke be better it’s cheaper it has limit rails for x and 1 year warrantee
I think it depends on preference. The MK4 is very well known and loved by many. Personally, my first printer was an Ender 3 and it's been an absolute beast. So I'd prob lean toward the ender, but I've also never had a Prusa so maybe I'm missing out
Nice TY!
I bought myself a Ender 3 V3 SE and i must say i cant see any difference between 60-120-180 Speed Quality besides it prints much faster. Everything above 180 for me is a mess since my 3d printer even supports a speed up to 250.
i wish i had money to buy a 3d printer and filament :(
I would look at the Creality Ender 3 ($175) and you can buy cheap filament on amazon for $20. Not necessarily cheap, but more affordable than most thing and that's a quality setup honestly
thanks it is very informative .. from where can i get the electron density value ?
Just what I needed thank you!!
Thanks to your video I finally got my company’s logo converted to an STL for my 3D printing projects! Thank you for the quick and easy tutorial!
Thank you! Smoothing was being totally annoying!!! Blender is hard man!
life saver bro
Good video, quick and effective, thanks!
Double click can also work in here 4:44
How does this work? If I make text little higher than outline... Is it gonna change color on every layer or only change to text color when that color is gonna be visible (higher than outline layers)? I don't want it to change color too often 🤔
Thank you for this! I been having this issue with my Kobra Max. I haven't printed anything for a few months and kept running into issues. So far I haven't had any issues after following your steps.
Interested to know if you or anyone in the comments would recommend this printer for a first time idex user, with a low budget, in june 2024?
He looks sadder every time 🤣
its not about printer , you just use shit program called cura which is so garbage no wonder you got mad
Great I just spent so long time making a custom organization tray, now you're telling me I have to to round all the edges. Why can't the slicer program just get rid of 90 degree angles?
so simple, yet so effective...i needed a smooth cylinder template to use for programs like tinkerCAD and selfCAD and this did the trick! thanks SO much!!!
I preordered one and it’s says delivery October
I am confused the difference between W and t
Your videos helped me during my oral exams during my internship.🙏
Those bulbasaurs look like theve been through some shit
I don’t know what the market was like a year ago. Currently Tesla is selling used cars for much less than carmax and cheaper than what private party sellers are asking. I also find non-Tesla dealerships do NOT understand Tesla cars. They don’t know what the rage is or the degradation of the battery. The market is tanking for used teslas.
Of late, I have found that Teslas on Carmax are actually more expensive than used Teslas on the Tesla website with virtually the same details.
thank you! i was looking for advice
You can also with just one extruder do a pause at layer height swap filament for a different color.
Thank you very much! Your video is very helpful!
When I click trace bitmap, the preview is blank. Just white preview. Nothing showing. Why is this happening? Someone please help me
I seem to have non-manifold vertices with the edge split, which causes other problems later on.
"promo sm" 🤣
Thank you, sir! This helped me get around Tinkercad's stupid limitations. I appreciate people like you donating their time to help others learn in the online community.
Good
I use a 0.2mm nozzle anytime I need something highly detailed to come through. Go with 0.1mm layer height and let it go for days.
Thank you
So from that body shop situation you said before that that you notice range difference
Yeah, in terms of my car says I have 300 miles of range but in reality (especially road trips) I really only have maybe 70% of that (just estimating here, don't have hard data)
My Ender 3 was my first Printer and was awesome. I purchased 4 other Creality printers after the Ender and were all disasters. I lost all faith in Creality as a company. I ended up going the Bambu route with their first "go fund me" X1C and have never looked back. Now I have 4 Bambu printers that just work with great software and support. Ender has always done the clone game and now they are trying to copy Bambu but selling at near identical price. Why would I buy from Creality when I can buy the brand I trust for marginally more? Tinkering is fine for awhile, but after wasting spool after spool of filament and hours and hours of time the more expensive printer becomes the economical choice
You lost all credibility when you said Bambu has "great support"...They are known for having some of the worse product/customer support in the business. And just a bout EVERY printer made since last year "just work right" without any tweaking. The ONLY thing Bambu has (had) that other companies didnt was the AMS system and now come June/July there will be a ton of those from different companies and all those new ones are improvements on Bambu's AMS...You might want to dump your Bambu's now while you still can because they are being Antiquated in a few months time....I already dumped mine
I have never used a bambu, but if that is your experience and you've had good times then for sure I wouldn't move over. That's a bummer about Creality. I've gotten lucky maybe, but only had two of their machines, and not expensive ones.
@@anthonylong5870 Are you talking about the new Prusa? Not reviewed well and have used one. Not ready for prime time. Creality has non existent suppot. Any issue I have ever had with Bambu has been remedied quickly and at no cost to me. 4 Bambu printers working flawlessly. I have had Creality, Prusa, Anycubic, Elegoo, and Bambu. 15 printers in all. Nothing even comes close to speed, quality and reliability of my Bambu. My first Ender 3 was a great printer and is still in use. My Anycubic Predator Delta is still in use but requires a good deal of work. All the rest I dumped due to wasted filament and time. I can only speak to my own experience but I'm sticking will Bambu till something better comes along. Would like to build my own Voron. That would be fun.
@@OverExtrudedPhysicist Unfortunately for me I jumped in on some of Creality's untested printers. Specifically, the CR-10 S pro and the CR10 smart and the CR-6 smart. I still use my original Ender 3 and it can be a workhorse for the right job. For critical prints I leave it to Bambu
3D scanners make a lot of sense if you're trying to generate game assets. I truly don't understand them for printing enthusiasts. Once you remove the color, the underlying mesh always loose like a chunky peanut butter version of whatever the object was.
I've never used one personally. The idea that I could scan something and it make a reliable mesh sounds amazing. But still there are hurdles (what about underneath the object if it is sitting on a table, what if the mesh looks like trash, how detailed can the scan really be, etc.)
I use an Einstar scanner myself, and I use it if I need to modify and/or add-on to any sort of item with a lot and/or unique geometry that would take too long to model in CAD from scratch. Simple stuff you can just go to down with calipers and probably get the job done faster. Very unique items like certain auto body parts or items where you are trying to mesh a 3d model with another item that has a lot of organic lines? These are situations where 3d scanning is fantastic.
did you try to retrofit something to cars? Try to get all surfaces and features from dashboard...
You certainly didn’t see yet a good scan from a 3D scanner and not from a phone app. I ordered a Creality Raptor. It will go well with my existing ones. Einscan-SP, Revopoint mini and Einstar. I use them for reverse engineering or for reference for mod parts.
Do y'all think the K1C will drop in price, even slightly, since the new ender will get 600mms too?
I wonder that....I'm waiting to find out. I feel like naturally it should, right? If nothing else a second hand (if you find it worth the risk) should definitely fall
Playing catch up with Bambu labs
With the CFS I totally agree. It is a super similar system...but the most sincere form of flattery is imitation!
Surpassing actually
1500 is insanely cheap compared to similar products
I guess for a hobbyist like myself it's still a big ole chunk of change though. It's more than all 3 of my printers combined lol
@OverExtrudedPhysicist im not saying its not a lot of money, it is still entirely out of my budget. Im just saying that the next option is 3000 and they go up from there, so its cheap relative to its competition os what i mean
im looking forward to using the CFS with my K1C
I am definitely considering a K1C just to use the CFS with. After using my SOVOL I will find it hard to use only a single color from now on. The K2 is prob too expensive for me right now
@@OverExtrudedPhysicist The CFS is going to be available on the standard 3 V3 as well. and possibly the Ke According to the early reports
@@OverExtrudedPhysicist definitely
i such a beginner.. my menu is completely different
What about the print flow
Exactly what I needed for a project, thanks
Has anyone tried printing one at 2x size? I'd love to use one to dispense random miniatures to paint.
I feel like as long as you double everything properly it’ll be good
