It's not that Megaworld is desperate in promoting their very own properties that even the owner and CEO himself is levelling down to a "mere" vlogger. But rather, it was their/his passion in promoting how beautiful our country is and by developing these destinations into world class communities, they are putting much value, which benefits the nation we are proud of. As a CEO, risking a fragile position and image, this move, to me, is quite a unique and very bold statement! Salute, sir Kevin!
As a Filipino who has lived abroad, I have often found the Philippines' overly conscious societal rules -- who gets to say what; who gets to speak to the CEO; the CEO only needs to do this and that -- unflattering. No need to be apologetic about why the CEO is talking about his properties; Richard Branson, Elon Musk, Mark Cuban, etc are actually approachable people who would do the same thing as your CEO. I have met a couple of these so-called VIPs and they don't mind talking to someone like me. I am based in the US and while the American dream is not as reachable as it once was, it's egalitarian culture is still there. I wish fellow Filipinos the best.
