We loved the little cenote that you showed on Calle 38. The lamb kafta had us drooling, we are big fans of lamb! That was a very lovely gift from Carla and Doug. Thanks for showing us this area of Playa del Carmen.
I’m coming…have a reservation for January 1st-March 31 in playa del Carmen ….have my house up for sale and hope it sells in the meantime to buy a house in Playa or Puerto Morelos
That's great! Beautiful time of the year to visit the Riviera Maya and get a feel for the area. We hope your house sells quickly and you find the perfect spot!
Hi guy’s, very interesting video. I have been to PDC a few times but never considered 38th Street as somewhere that I would think to visit. You have brought a truly different prospective to Playa Del Carmen, that Street looks very quaint, the restaurants you highlighted look amazing and the proximity to that beach is fantastic. Thanks for showing us that great Airbnb, great job!
This brings back so many great memories! We stayed in a condo on 38th near Quinta a few years back and fell in love with the area. Thanks for all the great videos you guys post!
Just visited here last week. We love the vibe! We go to Mexico about 3x a year and hopefully retiring there in 5 to 6 years..any information on the condo? Our favorite craft beer place is just around the corner too! I just had crickets and Chiles en Nogada at a great restaurant.. and YES pay the meters!
Hi here is the info on The Airbnb We Stayed At in Playa Del Carmen: Doug and Carla's Airbnb Condo Mara abnb.me/OVQlC5Nhnjb That’s awesome you are planning on retirement down here !! We didn’t get to check out the craft beer place but it looked super cool (a reason to go back lol) Thanks for watching and your comment
Hi guys I’m looking at this rental property at villas 11 a two bedroom apartment for under $500 Canadian are you familiar with this area…? Should I book it for January…? Joaquin Zetina Gasca…..
Hi Gary, Zetina Gasca is a main Road approximately 500 metres from the Highway between Cancun and PDC. It runs the entire length of the Colonia area of Puerto Morelos. It is serviced by a number of Restaurants and smaller shops, including one OXO (larger convenience store). It is an area that is a little further out from the downtown but is well serviced by Collectivo's (small transport vans for 10 pesos) and taxi's. Please watch our video on Property's and rentals in La Colonia. It should give you a prospective on the various areas in La Colonia and the approximate prices. When we rented before we bought we always used Airbnb because we could see the reviews etc. It will also tell you about paying all inclusive for your rental or having to pay for your own services. Hope this helps and we hope you get to PM in January it's a beautiful town !!
