I have a feeling plumkin has a second agenda. they clearly seem suspicious and even sven doesnt belive there words or promises. Every action taken has led to the prophecy happening. even before plumkin told sven the prophecy....the pit and a variety of events seem inherently planned ahead of time and the prophecy seems far to forward and unreasonable. All they have done is amplify mythrodaks hate and vengeful feeling aswell as others.
As usual, an absolute masterpiece by the man himself!! I quite liked how several of the guards started to refer to to Mythro as “it” instead of a living being with thoughts and feelings. Thought it was mostly because of him becoming stone at the beginning but it also ties into how people see him as a mindless killer bc of the prophecy. Cool little details to think about :D
Minecraft doesn’t even look and feel like the same game anymore while watching Mythrodak’s videos, it just feels like a completely different cinematic universe with its own narrative.
One of my favorite parts about this was the new insight that we got into Plumpkin's motivations: mainly that, as the guardian of this realm, he has sworn to protect all life, and will not authorize the killing of a single player if another way can be found. It shows that he is giving Mythro what he feels is the kindest fate he can provide.
I'd like to add that all the other characters seem skeptical of Plumpkin, which may be Mythro giving us a hint at some devious side of this god. Another thing to consider is that the prophecy of Mythro killing everyone only fulfills faster with the more effort they put in, which may be of Plumpkin's design. Every major massacre event (see The Pit, as well as every escape video that involved killing guards to get out) has only occurred or been worsened as a direct result of trying to stop or hinder him, so possibly, Plumpkin is setting up these events by design, and secretly has motivations to kill players, setting up elaborate ruses to succeed in his goals. Prisons are set up to stop Mythro from getting out to kill more players, but Mythro's blood-lust and want for vengeance is only fueled when this happens, and who's not to say that Plumpkin knew Mythro would escape before the prison was even set?
It would seem Mythrodak is leaning into the old Greek Mythology trope of “the more you struggle against fate, the closer you bring fate into becoming reality.”
y'know, for a guy who's propheciesed to "kill everyone" and is currently enacting his revenge arc, mythrodak is still somehow one of the most morally correct characters in this series, like even the regular guards are spiteful, hypocritical jerks who blame mythrodak for guards being left stuck in old prisons, which they made, to hold mythrodak, for the crime of being someone claiming that he'll "kill everyone" which is really vague in itself. And honestly, that's really cool imo, since we can see their plans keep getting bigger and bigger in their attempt to stop the prophecy, while we, being the viewers, can tell they're literally bringing it about
I feel it was the generic “stop them from going on their hero’s journey-oop my avoidance plans have just made them go on their hero’s journey” sort of thing, but Mythro here really slapped the cake.
@@stevemc01 similar concept, but unless there’s gonna be some big event where he actually goes against the prophecy and all the buildup so far, I’m pretty sure it’s a case of “cause terrible prophecy by trying to prevent it”
These morals are all wrong. They were on opposite sides. They showed him no mercy. Why should they get mercy in return? Also, prophecies come true, and from where I stand, being a massive dipwad is the cause of most of them. Innocent until proven guilty. You never locked him up, he would have no motivation, no fuel, to go on a massacre.
I love how deep the story is getting. It started out as a guy escaping the dream amp prison and then turned into a story of betrayal, revenge and a proficy. Really good
I love that this started as just escaping a prison, then it turned into an arms race, and now it's a ridiculously detailed storyline complete with world building, deep complex backstories, and awesomeness to boot
During the tear, at 6:29 (rewind 5 seconds and go frame by frame) there is - for one frame - a splash of text which appears to be a substitution cipher. I decoded it, and here's what I got. “Journal entry no.2 Hello, I hope you are doing well journal. As of two days ago, I have sustained quite the injury, from the travelling from my previous world to this resting place. I feel like I've been ripped apart and put back together, it does not heal anymore. It is not unpleasant, however the right side of my white dress has been soaked with red, I cannot tell where the blood starts and the flowers end. I'm fine though. I will be more careful, and I will try a different method of breaking through the wall. I'm afraid if I sustain another injury like that I will be torn beyond repair. But for now I shall rest here, and wait for my strength to come back to try and make a new home. This time I will not let it end poorly. I suppose I will talk to you later, journal.” I came to this solution because of the repeated single K’s throughout the original text; I assumed it was meant to be “I.” Upon trying, I noticed that the letter K was two letters ahead of the I in the English alphabet. “...H, I, J, K, L…” So because of this, I assumed it was a two spot forward shift, and low and behold, I got a cohesive batch of text. This is by FAR the best work you have ever made, and this just proved that. Such a clever way to give massive lore dumps. Mythro, if you are reading this, take these words of mine to heart. YOU ARE A LEGEND

Mythrodak, back at it again with another masterpiece. B) Honestly, what they've made so far is incredibly inspiring. I'm excited to see how this story develops

I'm going to be honest, this is one of the best written series in a long time. Not just in the Minecraft community, but as a series in general, for one reason. It tells the story from the perspective of the villain. Mythrodak may be the protagonist, but she is a villainous protagonist (protagonist means the main character, not hero). Mythrodak started as simply the protagonist, not villain. Plumpkin intervening did indeed set in motion the prophecy, and you can levy blame on Plumpkin, but that would immediately be forgetting the prophecy that has been set in motion. The first prisons were built to capture Mythrodak to prevent the prophecy. They in turn began telling the prophecy, and the events at Gaia's Vault was what finished it. When Shiratori was killed, the prophecy became inevitable. Mythrodak had unavoidably become the villain. Hints of this were directly seen in Ares Vault. She did not need to kill those inside, but she did it to "teach them a lesson". To send a message. Her escape wasn't enough, she had to hurt people. Sound like something a hero or even an anti-hero would be doing? Those were just hints of the future. Sven was never the villain. From the beginning, he only wanted to escape the Pit. When Mythrodak killed Chase, Sven hated Mythrodak. You might say "it was an accident", but does that change what happened? No it doesn't. Sven is the heroic antagonist (antagonist being someone who is against the antagonist. Heroes could be considered both protagonists and antagonists; it only depends which perspective the story is being told from). He is trying to prevent Mythrodak from doing to others what he did to Chase. Plumpkin is technically also a heroic antagonist now, although it is ironically his actions that led to the prophecy beginning in the first place. Plumpkin's goals were always morally correct, and therefore he was never the villain. To prevent the mass genocide that Mythrodak was prophesized to induce. Villain - Person who's aims/goals are morally wrong. Hero - Person who's aims/goals are morally right. Protagonist - The main character/the person we see the viewpoint of. Antagonist - Someone who is against the protagonist (this can be a hero against a villain just as it can be a villain against a hero). Edit: I have fixed the pronouns in the comment now. In this comment, when I use the name Mythrodak, I am talking about a character in a story. Mythrodak is now and forever will be dead in every way. The story was created by Ivory, who has her own channel that you should all sub to.
It makes me sad how little attention these videos get. The combination of cinematography, lore, acting, and difficult unscripted fights are genuinely amazing. The writing in these prequels are arguably better then Star wars’. It’s incredible how it went from Mythrodak just escaping prisons in multiple ways, to a fully fledged series.

The thing is its fate. Let me tell you a story of a king. There was a prophecy that this king would die to a child of a mother and father in the far reaches. The king though was smart so what they did was instead of seeing all the past kings die trying to kill the prophecy child they instead befriended the child and their parents for a couple of years the child grew up and the king and they were good friends. Then in an arena, while the child was playing a disc game the child accidentally threw the disc a little too hard and it went to the side of the king's head killing him instantly. Summary: King says I ain't trying that and befriends the one destined to kill him. Instead gets hit by the child's Frisbee at terminal velocity. You can't cheat fate, it knows you better than you do.
6:29 there is a split second where you can see just a random string of letters and spaces. But if you use a cypher, a shift of 2, the message becomes uncoded " hello I hope you are doing well journal. as of two days ago, I have sustained quite the injury from the travelling from my previous world to this resting place. I feel like I've been ripped apart and put back together. it does not heal anymore. it is not unpleasent, however, the right side of my white dress has been soaked with red. If you go to the scene after the fight you can see that Mythro has an injury to the right side of his face while there are flowers in the background. That also goes along with his confusion during the scene as well
Mythrodak, the woman behind the clock. She is not recognised nearly as much as she should, but is the most deserving of it. The way she stitches together her videos is completely unique, and makes watching them one of the best things I can do with my time, there is so much deep lore going on, it's unfathomable. This woman is probably one of the best directors on planet earth right now (Imagine her with a movie set, now that would be truly special), her videos are such a joy to watch ; it's like getting a present on your birthday when I see the notification on my phone that she uploaded. Mythrodak is a very special person, one of a kind in such an epic way. Thank you for existing and making my life better. Keep up the good work and I LOVE the music!
This video was PACKED WITH LORE!! We have: - The meeting of the gentlemen (Sven and Mythro) - Meeting Mush - Escaping _THE ABYSSY_ that is his mind It was just too much for my two braincells to handle!
The coorelation between masks and the characters in this reall tells a lot about the story. Plumpkin has something to hide under that straw and pumpkin shell of his, Sven has his sad backstory and viper-like nature hidden behind his cute panda mask. Mythro has his cool calm collected nature as a mask, yet as we see at the end of the video it becomes damaged. I feel this damage will only get worse due to time and with the accumulating effects of all this stress on Mythro's psyche, the thing will shatter and what he is underneath will be revealed. This will all lead back to, of course, the arena.
The transitions are all too well, the voice acting, and lore is completely amazing. I've rewatched most of these videos in the actual order, and this tells me Well. You are an amazing youtuber, and the lore is amazing again. So yes, let's get this done.
Hydrah screaming "It's OUT!!" combined with the music gave me fricking chills, incredibly well done as always. This Is the type of content I love but unfortunately don't get enough of...
What’s even more wrong about that statement, when concerning the lore: they’re dehumanizing Mythrodak. And all this started, because of a prophecy that only came about by being self-fulfilling. Had the Plumpkin just left him and his bird alone, he never would have done all of this.
The editing in this is unbelievable! That sequence at the beginning, when breaking out of the stone statue was incredible! 7:01 that sound is very similar to one in Tenet and it definitely helps boost that ominous tone
i think we can all agree at that time where the guy did that thing with that block to the other thing in the relative proximity of the guy while the other guy wasnt watching because of the other thing was just soo cool
Cant believe this month per month series stated as " Hey i can prove to all of you that posiden vault isnt actually Inescapable " and now look at where its at and where its going
"When an immovable object meets an unstoppable force, will they both fall?" Mythrodak has become both, and nothing can stop him. Anyways, just a beautiful and well-planned video. Camera angles and lore were all great, and beautiful scenery. Can't wait for the next episode. (And to think this was just a channel for escaping prisons lol)
I just want to say, mushuroomtv’s performance was amazing and underrated. The cries as she regrets having to choose betrayal or else her home would be burned to the ground, it feels so true and emotional, almost cried

This channel is criminally underrated, I hope you blow up soon! The way you make your escapes in to sort of like movies is super entertaining and I can see how much effort and making the videos you make require not to mention you escaping the seemingly impossible prisons. Keep it up man!😁
And with that one final shot, for the first time, I'm legitimately questioning my assumption that Mythrodak is the hero of this story. O.O Holy COW that was so well made. Many, many, MANY bravos.
Yeah, I think that the story is about to get *A lot* more complicated, and something straight out of a multi-million dollar series is about to happen. Definitely putting my money on a villain arc. My only worry is that, because the villain arc is usually one of the last, how will the story go after that? Will it end with a happy ever after, will Mythro realize what he's likely to do and come to his senses, and if he does, what happens after that? All of the characters here have been set up in ways that are really interesting, but dangerously easy to mess up, as well as hard to pull off correctly. I'm really interested to see how it goes, and see how he pulls off whatever happens next. Let's hope that he doesn't stall the story with some unimportant multi-long flashback or training series, or something of that nature. The last one he did was for a good reason, and did what he supposedly planned to do (bring popularity to the channel), so that puts it in even more interesting territory. Sorry for the long post, I'm just so infatuated with the story and what may happen.
This is legitimately incredible. I don't know what your life is like or how old you are, and you probably won't see this comment, but this video and the others like this are better than most feature-length films out there. I think you have potential in film, and could go into that industry and do well. I honestly think you're better than most directors out there.
I can believe how this went just from some prison escapes to a whole storyline. And it was planned from the start! It's so well made, I just love it! I can't say much so I'll just say, keep up this work man, you're amazing!
I’m so proud. I have been watching since his pandora’s vault escape and seeing his improvement over time makes watching each of these videos even better.
I love how he not only had to practice is video editing, direction, and music production to make these feature length films, but he also has to train his pvp skills. Absolutely insane dedication. 100% pays off, no doubt
i dont know if its intentional or not, but the pistons going with the beat its insane. I absolutely love the effort put in these videos and the tiny details like that, and i really like the music that you use in your videos clearly talented creator
I love the scripting of this piece and abyssal feeling I get about the deeper hidden lore of Mythrodak. It’s a like a “long ago and far away” feeling I get from symbolism and expressionist work. Really beautiful and unique style. Keeps me on the edge of my seat.
Well worth the wait Mythrodak. I honestly cannot describe how awesome your videos are, how well-edited and dramatized they are, like a high-budget blockbuster movie. The time and effort that you put in your content is incomparablely more high-quality than just about any other Minecraft youtuber. Totally worth waiting for months, after all your videos are just like blockbuster Hollywood films, which take a similar amount of time to make.
This is beyond insane! The edits, scenes, lore, everything is so good! Good job myth, you did it again! Edit: also the ending where myth warning sven got me loss of words, as if he is like about to go John Wick mode
I cannot believe how far and how amazing this channel has [be]come. I remember finding Mythrodak because of the "Killing every mob with a shield" video and being very excited about the very first escape video because I already knew the content and when I watched that video, I was blown away already. This series has done nothing but get better with every single video and I cannot wait to see what comes next.
Its a crime that Ivory hasn't reached 1 mil yet. All of these videos and the story line is unbelievably well done. The fact that she went from a dream smp prison escape to this in only a year is mind blowing. Seriously keep up the good work :D
Mythrodak’s videos are pure cinema. He’s so talented in every aspect of being a creator. Music, streams videos all of them incredibly soothing in there own ways. The dark tones in the music and the videos blend with myself and make me feel better. And the streams are really fun because of myths amazing personality. Stay happy myth as you always make me happy.
I really love the idea of pain and hatred taking hold of him and making him fall further into insanity itself. He is both incredibly talented and calculated, it makes him both a true hero and villain in the end. It only depends on what view of him you see. A person who just wants to be free, or a murderer who just wants revenge.
Dude- this is actually amazing. Honestly have no idea how it was achieved, I'm blown away by how well composed everything is... And you made the music too? Mythrodak, you and everyone else has really outdone themselves.
Out of all the videos Iv'e watched, Mythros ALWAYS are the best. The most well done. The most interesting and entertaining. I've been here since 10k and it is SO AWSOME to see escaping from random hard prisons turn into this. This masterpiece. I have a feeling that very soon you are going to be VERY popular. And I want to be here to see that.
New here, Can I say one thing, Holy smokes.
Mythrodak has returned with the greatest storyline of Minecraft.

During the tear, at 6:29 (rewind 5 seconds and go frame by frame) there is - for one frame - a splash of text which appears to be a substitution cipher. I decoded it, and here's what I got.
“Journal entry no.2
Hello, I hope you are doing well journal.
I suppose I will talk to you later, journal.”
I came to this solution because of the repeated single K’s throughout the original text; I assumed it was meant to be “I.” Upon trying, I noticed that the letter K was two letters ahead of the I in the English alphabet.

I have seen her in pvp legacy and fought him once she is pretty good, im willing to bet they aren't scripted.
As a lad in this reply section said, not scripted, but probably redone a fair amount of times

The prophecy is self fulfilling, clearly. If they had just kept a casual eye on him, he wouldn't have been angry for being imprisoned over and over.
I agree, this could have all been over if they just kept a close eye on him, and not literally kindle his hatred for all that lives.

He’s going straight up villain arc mode on them
Yeah, I think that the story is about to get *A lot* more complicated, and something straight out of a multi-million dollar series is about to happen.

I've been here since 10k and it is SO AWSOME to see escaping from random hard prisons turn into this. This masterpiece. I have a feeling that very soon you are going to be VERY popular. And I want to be here to see that.
Props to him for making a whole movie. Can't wait to see how it ends.
Bravo 👏
I don't want it to end!
@@Cutieguwu Like life everything needs an end
New here, Can I say one thing, Holy smokes. You are freaking unbelievable and insane (in a good way) I watched the past videos of your escaping series and it really turned to a real series with full on story. Now understanding Sven motivation it got really insane at this point and I can't wait for more. You deserved all the subscribers! And hope you could grow more.
It’s just a masterpiece at this point
Filled with lore
And amazing music
And pvp
The only people who say Dream is the best Minecraft player haven’t heard of Mythrodak
fact
Everybody: dream is number 1 player
Players who are better then dream but dont post videos: o_o
Mythrodak who posts but no one notices it: >_
YES truue
Except for that fact this video is scripted lol
The stories are sooooooo GOOOD! Love these! by the way I headed over to the stream and it's just so pleasant to listen to your voice. I could totally see myself just building to your streams. Witch is interesting because your videos have me on the edge of my seat. And the music is amazing. I hope you will release a playlist of it once the story wraps up. I unfortunately don't have money to spare or support the people I want to but know that I'm with you in spirit!
1:46 The beat was really timed well. I liked how every time the machine moved, the beat drops and goes up
SPOILER (maybe):
Mush: "I don't think we should be friends anymore"
Normal person: "Why?"
Mythrodak: "May i ask how you've come to this conclusion"
Yep
I can't wait for the warden to come out, imagine having to stealth out of a prison, that'd be so cool
I love how this went from escaping prisons to actually having lore
