This is genuinely awesome, a lot of videos about the OP-1 throw you straight into the deep end but you've laid this out a lot simpler and it's a great beat too! I really want one of these. Good job man, Subbed!
I'm all about putting an LFO on the CWO's delay with a really slow rate to get really strange results (especially on drum tracks) be sure to have some feedback added!
Great tutorial. I enjoyed it and it inspires me to try on my OP-1 soon. Crystals at the end though? Come on, everyone knows you have to have a tiny plant next to the OP-1.
friend what is your method or how do you record the sounds you are making with op 1 to the camera? Do you use any program to edit the video afterwards by a separate track from the recording or is all the sound from op 1 to the camera and do you edit it later in any video program on your pc? explain me the connection method? nice quality waooo
@@LiamKillen You can go to the Album Menu, then you type "Record", starting from now all you do is recorded for 6min. Go back to your project, play, stop, tweak, anything. It will be recorded in One take !
Hi all ! I recently bought my op-1… i do notice that the overall output volume is quite low … is that normal ? Also th radio function gives a lot of static and nearly no radio stations… the extra antenna does not make that much difference. Is this normal ? Any experiences or comments ? Thanks, Philippe
Yeah the radio is a little rough for me too! As for the volume are you making sure that the volume in tape mode is high enough? Try twisting the red knob in tape mode.
This was a while back i’m pretty sure I sampled this from one of my own packs, all free for now. Here’s the link 🙂 www.liamkillen.com/free-sample-entry
I’m absoluting loving this channel! You are so unique and you are really showing great passion and inspiration with the gear, you’ve got! I will definetly stick around here! Thanks, Mr. Killen!
The workflow is really great every time i touch that thing something awesome happens and it takes me out of the DAW mind set. If it’s good enough for diplo, kevin parker (tame impala), Beck, Mark Hoppus (blink 182), Bon Iver...the list goes on. It’s good enough for me and you! 😉
Yeah this video is heavily influenced by Red means Recording for sure. I’ve quite changed it up since then though this video is getting close to 2 years old now.
awesome. thank you. I've had an op for years and rarely use it. this inspired me to get back into it
You made my day! Glad I could help
sirkzz damn I wish I had enough money to buy an OP-1 and RARELY use it😔😅

I’ll mess with that thanks for the tiiiip!
Thanks for this video. Just got my OP 1 and my game plan is to use it for some of my Lofi beats.
Have fun!
Love your videos, great work and well put together. More op1 goodness please!
Thank you so much for watching! Much more to come soon! :-)
CWO FTW! subbed, great OP-1 content
Thanks a mill man! Making some opz content right now actually 🙂
Awesome track...but is it wrong that my favorite part about it is the yellow table cloth and sweet stones?
Not wrong at all! Thanks for watching 🙂
Dope track and nice tips for the OP!
Glad to help!
this worth way more than 44k views! what a terrific tutorial.
Glad to help 🍻
Love it
Thx for watching 😊
Have you tried running your OP-1 through Koala EFX? It’s on Android, IOS, and now there is a free version for the Mac. It’s the digital SP404.
I have not! Something to consider i guess 🤔

Crystals are the bomb though. Also i did rock the tiny plant on some other videos lol

Where can i listen to whole beat
This is it! haha. At the end of the video there’s a sample of the whole beat. It’s short, i know.
@@LiamKillen Dude you need a side post of all you beats uou created mate, people need to freestlye on then or just jame out to them.

Nice song! How did you record your sound from op-1 in such a high quality when you’re filming? Did you set your mic very close to op-1?
오도구배달왕 I ran it through my computer as i was filming and synced the audio to the visual. It makes such a world of difference :-)
Noice.
Nnnnnooiiicceee! (thx)
Did you also use the Opie one to cut your video? LOL
My Opie one Kenopie? Yes, it can do anything when it summons the force.

It's a $2,000 SP-404.
I wouldn't compare it directly to the 404 ! There are some similarities but all in all they're quite different.
I'm selling mines bro I have no real use for it
Put it up on reverb or something i’m sure it’ll go quick

What's so great about the op1 all of that can be done in any DAW, perhaps even easier
