Thank you guys for visiting us in the sunshine state! We are more confident than ever in our product line up and are striving to be a community first company. If anyone has any questions, feel free to ask here!
@@miles9911 our management is universal, however you would need air struts for your vehicle. Our product controls the air bags from any vendor you purchase from. Try checking Universal Air Systems for your Arteon!
It’s good to see the name return with a enthusiast at the helm of the division. That said heavy goods vehicles and buses/coaches have used self levelling air suspension for decades, with products over the past 10 years using electronically controlled suspension, with the ability to lift tag axles independently, lower/lift ride height for trains/ferries and kneeling for low floor entry. Surely with R&D, creating a product for use on light vehicles shouldn’t be a problem.
Many of the systems used by heavy goods only recently started to become standard as they were not trusted for a long time, but the components used all look very similar to the ones accuair are developing it seems. Somewhat more complex in that they tell you the air pressure and ride height but essentially the same
@@datguy013 all comes down to where you are in the world and the purpose of the vehicle, I agree, air systems are more common now although leaf springs are still common on certain vehicle types, from being within the PSV trade, leaf springs are dying out with air springs and shock absorbers becoming the norm, electronic management across a lot of vehicles is basic although that depends on chassis manufacturer, but then simplicity can be key to reliability.
Love this. I’ve had an accuair setup for about 7 years on 3 different cars and the elevel is a beast. I’m in the Facebook group and Ryan Rutledge answers questions and is super involved. So glad to see the turn around👌🏾
It was really cool meeting you guys and showing you around the Arnott facility! Had a lot of fun hanging out at SEMA with the whole FI and CO crew too. Hope we get to hang again soon. 🤘
@@FitmentIndustries I’ve bought two sets of wheels from you guys. Saving for a third. I can’t wait to reveal the new setup on my boosted Honda Odyssey.
It's good to see them back , although a little sad that the original founders aren't here anymore . I'm glad that the company has made a comeback and that their products are available again to us car nerds , because they make some of the cleanest and most advance air management system.
I was literally in the checkout process of my last order when these guys went under, it’s surreal to think I might actually be able to buy it after all. I had kinda accepted it was static forever at this point.
This was a good story. I had no idea they revamped and are doing things like this now. You gave a ton of useful information which not only makes me interested in trying air for the first time but also excited to work with the people who create and manage it. Was never too into products like this especially after hearing about some of the worse happenings of air suspension. but much is to blame on user error. Ill have to look into it.
Los Angeles here and first, please offer brick cheese on fit industries. This i need. Secondly if you think the tarantulas are big, wait till you see what a tarantula hawk is. How bigger is the bug that eats the big bug? Makes a huge splat on your wind screen
Is that anything like the relative mosquito hawk that dwarfs actual mosquitoes?? Most people here in TN think they ARE mosquitoes, but I have to educate them they are good for us and not to kill them. If you wanna see mosquitoes that big(and bigger)along with the "skateboard" roaches just drive down to Florida!!! 🙄☺️🤣🤣
@@CrazeCracker79 same idea. And same in California everyone calls mosquito hawks mosquitoes lol. Just imagine a bright blue wasp with a 1/2” stinger and a red set of wings… also big enough to kill a tarantula
Hey Fitment Industries, great video! Makes me want to bag my Honda Odyssey. Hey, with the end of the Climate Summit, what ever happened to Silicon-based tires? There was a lot of hype on them being a savior for tire waste in the late 90s, as well as customizable colors, but I only see them on bicycles these days.
I'm at the beginning but does that mean the cvt endo will be coming back??!! I was so excited when I learned about it.....then it wasn't available. Edit: welp guess not.....bummer
I'm wondering Why the name AccuAir hasn't been changed due to ALL the negative vibe and background that comes with it?? Although starting and taking over a company that nose-dived may have been a good business transaction, the "name" may still in essence reek of an oder that screams 'Bankrupt', 'Bad Business', New Customers may stay away from the idea of buying. A new "name", may be needed, to introduce "a new improved company that stemmed from a Great Idea"- AccuAir. Just a thought, a business freebie.🙂
That's a super great question! I would be willing to go out on a limb and say that even though their reputation was dragged a bit in the past it may be a lesser task to try to rebuild that image with a well known name than completely reinvent themselves. - Jt
Wow, I’m so out of the game that I didn’t know they were “chapter 7” out of the game. Maybe it’s because I’m so broke I could never afford air suspension 🤣
Laugh at me if you must but I request a "So You Want A Late Model Fox-Body Mustang". Does accuair still sell systems cause I just picked up a 95 SN95 earlier this year and really want to put it on bags. 😁🙏👊🍻
I don't care who owns it now, I have such a bad taste in my mouth when I hear about Accuair after all the shit I personally went through and money I lost after purchasing their products. They may not have founders anymore due to the Arnotts ownership but I believe the brothers are still involved and if so, fuck those guys. Thanks for the paper weights in my garage that you sold to people knowing they were junk.
AGREED total piece of shit from the minute it was installed it started leaking then a compressor blew out then the manifold started leaking a ton of videos explaining spray soapy water on the piece of shit to check for leaks WTF Nothing but junk don’t waste your money most of all your time !!! Go ahead and air up the next morning you’ll be hard on the tires and wondering why you ever wasted your money on this shit product
