Bite Sized Oddities - UP 1000 (ft History for Everyone Productions)

Diesel locomotives were making a prominent appearance in the US during the 1930s. Whether it was a streamlined trainset, a motor car, or a yard switcher, they began to prove there worth to the American railroads. The Union Pacific would trial a newer EMD switcher during 1940, and it would pave the way for the UP's further dieselization. We'll follow the short journey of this diesel switcher, and where it is now.

I found this quite an informative video! Now, I know a lot more about Union Pacific's first non-passenger diesel locomotive... and how it's still around! I'm glad that UP 1000 is still pulling excursion trains.

don't know if you take suggestions but two suggestions is Buffalo Central 46 which has had quite the history of moving around the place and is currently trying to be preserved with the donation going on also had a bicentennial livery and the other one is Ontario Midland number 3 which has almost like a NASCAR Dale Earnhardt livery

really good video. as for those international locomotives, how about the dutch NS 1200 locomotives? they were built by baldwin, but eventually were built further by werkspoor. it would be funny to see it in a bite-sized video
