I just went to my first Toby Mac concert in Hot Springs AR. Awesome show. My grandson and I walked miles in extreme heat to get my pass logged into the system in order for me to return near showtime. I was weak and weary. Was about to give up or pass out. When we finally reached Grand Ave. I could see Magic Springs but I didn't think I could go on. But there was a large Church with a large shady lawn. I stopped there and laid down for a rest, asking Jesus why is this so difficult. Just then the neighbor across the street came over and gave us cold bottles of water. We shared our story and he was kind enough to give us a ride the rest of the way. By Gods Grace my grandson helped me get my pass and he was still able to get to work on time. Praise Jesus!!!!
My mom loved the Lord with all her heart and died early at 51. As a small child I would see her in the kitchen doing dishes and she would be singing this old song. My how I miss her tonight. Hug your living loved ones and tell them how much you love them because when the Lord takes them home it will change you forever. I am 65 now but I still remember her singing this like it was yesterday. May this song bring you hope and comfort!
I'm sorry for your loss. I lost my mom last year from cancer. She was 60 years old. God took her to heaven to take care of her, just like my mom. Actually, my mom just turned 60 before she died.
