I still love this motorcycle scene. Her hair and how it looks blowing around makes me laugh! 😂 And that kooky, raspy old lady laugh. No one buy Phyllis Diller can make a scene like this funny.
I KNEW everybody would be rushing to this site--Phyllis's funniest movie. She overshadows Bob Hope--no mean feat---in a completely zany performance. The motorcycle bit is the best thing of the whole movie. Hysterical. Dear Phyllis you are now making the angels pee in their pants with laughter. We LOVE you always and your gift of laughter in a at times troubled world.
My sister and I watched this movie back in the 1960s. She had a weak stomach and laughed so hard that she barfed! No big deal, she returned from the bathroom and continued laughing.
Phyllis--we LOVE you. This was one funny movie and Phyllis's madcap, zany, irreverent, anarchic performance (w/outrageous laugh) stole the picture away from Hope. She's sort of a combination of Danny Kaye and Ruth Gordon. She made being old/kooky 'cool'. We're lucky Phyllis has made this scary world a funnier place (by the way, I remember this movie on Tv as a child--I loved her way back when).
@mythicky I used to have that movie on video tape. Can you tell me if the movie is available on DVD? i love Phylis Diller!! I really would like to get that movie again.
I saw this movie in 1966 and could not help but laugh. Two exquisite icons--Bob Hope and Phyllis Diller.

When I first saw this movie on tv when I was a kid this scene made me laugh so hard I thought I was gonna pee my pants.

This takes me back to a simpler life when We could laugh and enjoy TV with all the legends.
That was from "Boy Did I Get a Wrong Number" with Bob Hope and Elke Sumner. It was a great movie, full of one liners and silly skits.
Phyllis Diller is an icon!
I remember seeing this movie at the drive-in theater in Texas when I was a kid and thought this was hysterical at the time.
I also remember it at a drive-in in Abilene, TX. Always loved Phyllis!
+Brian Cordova I saw it at a drive-in in the Mid-Cities between Fort Worth and Dallas.
It's a two stroke sound, but the bike is actually a Honda S90 from the mid 1960's, which had a single cylinder 4 stroke engine

She was the funniest thing in the movie. I just remember, Elke Sommer just walked around saying, "sleep.....I need sleep"!
This'll be a good prank to play on not just the police but other people in cars as well!
this is positively surreal.
