That's good, I would like the distortion clip effect to be the pre or post filter option; finally what would be great is a mode similar to afx station from novation, for example the synthetizer would only work in monophony but a single setting per note.
Wicked. I've created hundreds of patches for Hive and anything that makes the work flow easier, allowing one's ideas to be expedited with greater speed, is always a plus. Sometimes being able to be incredibly precise with a particular parameter makes all the difference. A few more filters for Hive, like allpass/phase. flange,formant, and an estreme filter, like Serum's scream filter, wouldn't be unwelcome either. Some form of simple oscillator modulation like ring mod and simple fm. would go amiss as well.Good for those of us that like a few Buchla style complex oscillator tones in the mix. Although I've created a few a Wts with Arturia's Buchla Easel, that work pretty well Hive as it is anyway. There's a lot there as it is but, you know what they say, less is more but more is even more than that. So... Further to this, it would be good if one of you guy's could do a few tutorials on programming UHM scripts. Never quite got into that and as I understand it there's a lot you can do, outside of the normal sort of functionality one would get from something like Serum's formula parser. Also, a few videos showing the full capability of the shapers would be welcome. Mostly, I've just used them to modulate the lfos and envelopes, or as substitutes for these modulators. I'm sure there's something I'm missing, in terms of my useage so far, so being given a few example that go beyond that would be helpful.

Not for the sake of promotion headlines, but for the users. Truly big up. As a preset designer, I hope that the entire process of preset saving (press the save button and the subsequent "Apply" button) can be done via keyboard alone☺
Urs you’re a legend! I heard you programmed a melting screen timebomb for one of your plugins in the early 2000’s which is really funny and very clever. Keep up the fantastic work.

I have a suggestion: use ctrl+{left,right} to fine {decr, incr}, and ctrl+{down,up} for coarse {decr,incr}. ctrl = cmd in macos. You can add a shift in the mix for even finer/coarser variations. And no issues with typing minus "-" now.
Hey Urs, can you do a video on the new MPE function. I don't know if you have to enable it or where and didn't see any MPE presets in Hive 2. Looking forward to using it though, Hive 2 seems perfect for it.
MPE usage and presets highly depend on the controller. Sounds that work well for Osmose do not necessarily work well for Linnstruments etc... we're working on some examples, mostly based on selected factory presets. Can't yet say when we will publish them. Also, as I'm not a versed player, I'd rather leave explaining MPE to others. Someone more capable should explain the differences between the controllers, and how they might affect sound design.
very interesting, I could see some good uses for this not the most exciting feature in the world, but there's definitely times where you just want to tap through decimal values is it safe to assume this will come to all u-he products? or just Hive? I see this being most powerful in Zebra 3, but also see how added complications could arise from a more freeform layout

Cursor up/down already navigates the cursor. But p gets you to the preset browser in an instant, and from there up/down browse through presets.

I love you can do this on Ableton and I've been missing the feature inside the plugins. Looking forward to have it done for fine tunings mainly on ACE

Yeah, this comes to pretty much everything. In Z3 this will be useful to set values that are not easily reached, particularly in the curve editors.

Yeah, unfortunately we tested this on Linux, and only very few things work... and the dev in charge is currently focussing on Uhbik...
