Amazing. This is the place I’m wanting to go. It never crossed my mind to go to Amsterdam. I found this city because of the Amstel Gold Race (cycling). So I just studied the Limburg province. You’re definitely making me realize I’ve picked a good place to go and visit. Plan on staying just in the Limburg province.
We visited Maastricht this summer and we loved it! We DID buy vlaai and took it home to friends for Sunday dinner (dessert). Anyway, back to the city-its so beautiful, hilly, full of history. The doors are gorgeous! Flea markets great!
So glad you liked Maastricht (and its vlaai😌🙌🏻). It’s one of those cities that never bores you, as there’s something to see around almost every corner!
been here for almost 8 months and I only have 4 months left to stay here. I am very happy and I really enjoy the city, I hope I can go back here and live here for more years. this so relaxing and calm city :)
Ahh, I'm so glad you're enjoying this beautiful city! I hope you're able to make the most of your stay, even with the current circumstances. If you want to explore more of the highlights of the Limburg province, I can highly recommend you to visit Thorn, Roermond, Eys & Noorbeek (for the hills), Maasduinen national park, Brunsummerheide, De Meinweg national park and De Groote Peel national park.
@@TheDutchcountryside oh nice thank you for recommendation, I think I've never been there except Roermond (beautiful city also) and I will try to go that park you've mentioned :)))
It's nice to see a new video, thank you ! I'm thinking of visiting The Netherlands in 2022 (I can't wait), these videos and your website are both an AWESOME source of information, very useful to plan my trip and choose all the places I would like to visit :D Have a great weekend, stay safe and healthy

Ik was in Maastricht met mijn vrouw enkele jaren geleden als ik nog geen nederland heb kunnen spreken. Ik vind de stad heel mooi met en grappige atmosfeer. Kurios is de boekwinkel in de kerk.
Love You’re Videos … i Fall in love with the City of Maastricht 😍 it’s so funny That i lived only an 1 Hour Ride away in Germany and Never Visited this beautiful City before :) i‘m German and learning dutch, and I LOVE IT ❤️
Thank you so much for the sweet compliment! Maastricht is a beautiful city, so I can understand that you fell in love with it. It's definitely time to visit if you're so closeby! And how fun that you're learning Dutch I don't often hear Germans learning Dutch, so that's cool! Are there any things you're having trouble with at the moment?
I finished high school in the Netherlands in '53, but unfortunately speed reading and/or listening was not included in my courses. You talk far too fast for me, whilst the subtitles were complete sh...t!
Haha, I will probably make some videos in Dutch with English subtitles in the future, but for now I will keep it at English as it's easier for new subscribers to get into my videos :) I hope you're staying safe in Polen! Groetjes!
A little bit! I was in The Netherlands as a child for 2years , my mother was born and raised in Amsterdam Holland she was a war bride ! but l have forgotten a lot of Nederlands , after returning home to the States my mother no longer would speak Dutch for fear we may get confused lol 😂 if anything l think it would have helped, my mother was a very devoted American, and loved our Country , she always spoke English because it was our Native Tongue, what a beautiful lady She Was ! Love You Momma n Daddy and Thank You Both 💁♀️💕💁♀️💙🙏🙏

Moving to Maastricht in a few weeks, this video was SUPER helpful! Dank je wel!
Graag gedaan, that’s so good to hear; Maastricht is beautiful (and so are its surroundings), so you’ll definitely enjoy it there! :)

Also try Jura beer. A Maastricht beer. I definitely have to go back to see the places you talked about.
Maastricht is a really cool city. I've been twice, after the covid crisis is over I hope to visit again sometime!
It really is! I'm so glad you liked Maastricht both times you've visited. Hopefully you're able to visit this beautiful city sooner than you think :)

Students pretty much put the city down the drain since they came here. Main language in city center is English now, wtf?

English language is so boring. Can You nederlandse speak ? ;) Groeten uit Polen.
