He was one of L's successors who thought he could be better than L and decided to assert his superiority through crime. Probably a crappy explaination, but it's been a while since I read the book...

Naomi Misora is the FBI agent that L asks to help with the BB murder case. She is in the Death Note Anime/Manga as well, Remember when Light killed Raye Penber? The woman that was hunting Light down was her. Or in the first movie, Light kills Naomi by making her suiciding at the end of it,

The book tends to give more questions than answers, I think. Maybe L never 'met' B, but B could have easily, being the stealthy guy he is. stalked L without L's knowledge. Thats the conclusion I came to..
I've never read the whole story, but I know that in the end BB tries to set himself on fire and become the last victim. He doesn't succeed, but does he actually catch on fire and burn up a bit? It's driving me bonkers.
I heard that Naomi found B before he could burn himself, so he didn't get burnt at all? Or did she come late? Anyway, I love this video. And thats saying something because I don't usually like/enjoy slideshows, but your choice of photos and the song fit so well. Especially the "And stay sleeping" I don't know why I loved that part so much, "I'm so sick" fits B so well its ridiculous. Could you send me that photo? At 1:30? (I just wish you did the whole thing *pout*)
