I know it souns proposturus but putting an external gyro on this ( internal can be shut off) can convert this to a great performing drift car. It already is great value for money from the box but putting a cheap but good gyro and calibrating it to perfection makes it a professional rc drift car in my opinion. only 30$ totaling for 70-80$ for a great experience.
Yeah I've heard people do that. I can see how that would transform it into an awesome little drifter, as even out the box they're really good, especially for the money. 👍

I got the nsx. You can upgrade the gyro into something more hobby grade. I’ve seen it somewhere

No they're all drift tyres, just different wheels to suit each car. 👍

With these cheaper low cost cars can you upgrade motor esc tires etc...?
Well you can upgrade anything if you want too, so I don't see why not. It's just a case of finding bits that fit. 👍

Still works just as it did out the box, had no issues with it. I don't use it every day, but used it maybe 5 to 10 times. My son uses it more than I do. We've had the white RX7 even longer and that still works fine too. For the money they're great little cars. Hope that helps. 👍

The front wheels go left and right that’s not really smooth
Not sure what you mean sorry? The steering is proportional as is the throttle. 👍
Because it has a gyro in it🤦♂️ clearly smooth in drifting terms
