I was really curious to hear from the new CEO as this is the beginning of his direction for GF. I heard him talk a lot about exclusivity, opening new doors, new clients, etc. Not once did he talk about how excited he is about the actual watches. Chasing volume and new customers with refreshed cash flow watches could be dangerous... The Richemont investment is showing 🙄
The whole watch industry sadly.
There are very very few CEO's, sadly, that are really excited about the brands they represent and their products. One that come to my mind which is very friendly and enthusiastic is Xavier de Roquemaurel from Czapek et Cie. He really makes you want to own a Czapek and be part of the Czapek "family".

I met Greubel Forsey this year at Geneva watch days and I can tell you it’s the most amazing and innovate watch maker, amazing finishing, amazing quality but not so crazy in quality like MB&F

Mbnf is on a different level however i think gf is just as good with quality but the movements and horology that goes into a mbnf watch is remarkable and the restraint they show in their production is rivalled by their lack of restraint in their designs max is a living legend

Interesting opinion Marco, I would disagree that they have the only watches that are that clean in that particular price bracket. Thanks for the coverage.
Photographing and making videos about so many different brands I see them as one of the top.
I would agree with marco i have seen even the likes of fpj , patek and lange under the loupe but none came even close to the gf finishing and perfection
Unpopular opinion: Watch collection is not a skill. It's not a hobby. It's mostly a function of how rich you are. And yes you can get some good stuff at the low end, but let's be honest, the way high end watch collectors talk about their pieces is sad.

I would have been interested why that watch is so expensive. What elements are special to other highend manufacturer. What makes it different? Here you more or less gave him only compliments and admiration what is good but not enough helping your viewer to really get the information you need.
