You really did an excellent job with your video and the sound was great. Now I have been fly fishing for 50 plus years. Consider showing video of your rig flies, how deep your running the nymph pattern, tippet, fly sizes. Also I would love to see your camera rigs. I'm sure you are using multiple action cams.
Really appreciate the kind words and feedback! We will keep that in mind for future videos and give more details on our rig. As for the camera, we used a sony a6000 to do all the filming. Thank you for watching!
I fished the Trico hatch in the Madison River this past September. It was equal parts fun and frustrating. Millions of tiny bugs with fish surfacing everywhere, constantly. Getting one to hit your fly was an exercise in patience and luck. Fortunately the hopper bite in the afternoon made up for it!
Great job on the videos guys! Spending time on the water with family and friends just can't be beat. I'm more than a little jealous of the opportunities that you have! Keep up the good work!
My favorite part of this video is watch how you guys safely handle, photograph, and release these fish. It's so refreshing to see after watching so many fishermen just throw there catch around.
Tricos on the Mo! Absolute fly fishing heaven! PS - hope you get over that crazy - "it's a family vacation so we couldn't keep fishing" - stuff and get your priorities straight guys! We're talking tricos on the Mo! :)
Thank you! I have to admit that it's much easier to create that sort of imagery when you have a place like that to film in so I can't take all the credit! It was a great way to end the summer though, that's for sure!

*Beautiful video congratulations fisherman.* *Hugs and good fishing!* 👍🎣🐟🐠
Oh man... beautiful fish, guys! Oh to have that in my backyard. Who the heck thumbs downed this video? Sheesh. Doug, what made you go with the hip pack for this trip?
Thanks for the support! Really appreciate that! I had been saving up for a waterproof pack that I could easily carry my camera and gear without having to worry about falling in (I had a few close calls last year lol). It worked very well for hiking too, which we did a lot of in Glacier. I'm planning on using it for place a that are tough to wade and for when it gets really warm out. Hoping to do a gear review on it soon to give more details. Thanks for watching as always!
Got it... makes perfect sense. I'll await your gear review as I just started making some videos and am nervous as hell about my camera going for a dip.
You came back to Montana! :D Gorgeous rainbows man! Excited for your future videos here :) I remember you saying you would be back and I am glad you got to keep that promise :D
We're glad that we were able to make it back! Took the whole family for this trip and everyone loved it! It truly is an awesome place! That is for watching!
Thanks Craig! Yep, we hit rock creek for a few hours during out stay in Missoula. I wanted to try that stream you told me about last year too but didn't have time unfortunately. Rock creek video will be next in the series!
Great video. It’s important that you capture and edit what your experience is supposed to look like. You B roll some beautiful casting but rarely show a take or much of the fight. Defiantly good work on fish presentation but I like the fishing as much or more than the catching. Maybe just one or two more scenes of indicators and or dryfly takes would put it over the top for me.
They have never failed and are very, very strong. The magnets are my favorite feature about the pack actually. The zipper closures are the original model of the pack so it would be a slightly older one.
I'm not really that familiar with any of the names but if you call Headhunters or Cross Currents fly shop they would gladly tell you some access points. They even have a map at their shops with the access areas marked. Hope this helps. Good luck this fall!

Green river in Utah has one of the most prolific BWO hatches of any of the western rivers. Mid April. You should give it a try when you can.
I've heard it's a great river! I'll have to try and hit the BWO hatch someday for sure! Thank you for the recommendation!
Also some of THE best " big bug fishing " all summer long. Incredible fish numbers & scenery as well.
It is my dream to fish hoppers on the Mo! But yes, I totally agree - it can be equally fun and frustrating fishing for those big bows!
Great job on the videos guys! Spending time on the water with family and friends just can't be beat. I'm more than a little jealous of the opportunities that you have! Keep up the good work!
Thanks for watching! We are very blessed

Looks like a great trip. Nicely filmed.
Thank you, it was great to get out there! Thanks for watching!
Fished the Mo below Holter Dam during a Trico hatch. Size 16 zebra midge worked like a charm. Lots of big rainbows.
Awesome vid! 👍👍
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!
Nicely done guys. Excellent footage as usual. Cannot wait to get back there next summer.
Thanks Tom, really appreciate the support! Thanks for watching!
Really nice video guys! I look foreword to each and every video. Excellent job. Thanks for sharing!!
Glad you enjoyed it Mark! Thank you for the continued support!

Haha you just can't beat tricos on the MO lol
Been diggin' your vids! Thanks for the great content. 👍👍
Glad you are enjoying them! Thanks for watching and thanks for the comment!
Beautiful scenery and great job capturing the Trico hatch. The peeling of that drag in the video with the imagery of it was awesome. Nice trip!

Nothing beats the Missouri River! My favorite river hands down! Holter damn to Craig is unreal fishing 👍👍
We love the Mo!!! Thanks for watching!
I live in great falls grew up fish the Mo.
Good video.
Next time you are here get a hold of us!
Will do! It's good to get the local knowledge, that's for sure!
Wow, fat healthy fish
You guys need bigger nets when you come out west and keep the trouts head in the water as much as possible when releasing
I see you’re at bull pasture with that brown.
Great fishing guys..
Should look into some Frabill nets .
Hold those Pigs your catching better..
Keep up the Great Video's Guys..
A bigger net definitely would have been handy for these fish! Good advice lol thanks for the continued support my man!

Nice fish! Another good quality video. Did u hit Rock Creek again?
Thanks Craig! Yep, we hit rock creek for a few hours during out stay in Missoula. I wanted to try that stream you told me about last year too but didn't have time unfortunately. Rock creek video will be next in the series!
Maybe next time! Wish I could fish Montana more often.
Hi Guys, I am actually trying to reach you. Help please. Fantastic videos, and results.
Thanks for reaching out! Whats up?

I found a William Joseph Confluence pack, but it has zippers instead of magnets. Do you think that matters? Have your magnetic closures ever failed?
They have never failed and are very, very strong. The magnets are my favorite feature about the pack actually. The zipper closures are the original model of the pack so it would be a slightly older one.
Next time go fish at Rhoda’s Island.
Please show flies
Can you tell me some wading access sites ? I'm going in sept 2019.
I'm not really that familiar with any of the names but if you call Headhunters or Cross Currents fly shop they would gladly tell you some access points. They even have a map at their shops with the access areas marked. Hope this helps. Good luck this fall!
